CBD, or cannabidiol, is quickly changing the debate surrounding the use of marijuana as a medicine. Most people have heard of a chemical called THC, which is the ingredient in marijuana that gets users high. But recently, attention has shifted to another marijuana compound called CBD. And for good reason.
Because while doctors can’t seem to look past certain side effects of THC, CBD doesn’t seem to present that problem. On the other hand, evidence of CBD’s vast medical potential is mounting.
Here are five facts that you need to know about this unique compound:
1. CBD is a key ingredient in cannabisCBD is one of over 60 (http://bjp.rcpsych.org/content/178/2/101.full) compounds found in cannabis that belong to a class of molecules called cannabinoids. Of these compounds, CBD and THC are usually present in the highest concentrations, and are therefore the most recognized and studied.
CBD and THC levels tend to vary (http://www.leafscience.com/2014/02/17/cannabis-genome-got-mapped-qa-dr-jonathan-page/) between different strains and varieties of cannabis. For example, by using selective breeding techniques, cannabis breeders have managed to create varieties with high levels of CBD and next to zero levels of THC.
2. CBD is non-psychoactiveUnlike THC, CBD does not cause a high. While this makes CBD a poor choice for recreational users, it gives the chemical a significant advantage as a medicine, since health professionals prefer treatments with minimal side effects.
The reason why CBD is non-psychoactive is due to its lack of affinity (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2219532/) for CB1 receptors. CB1 receptors are found in high concentrations in the brain, and are the pathways responsible for the psychoactive effects of THC.
3. CBD has a wide range of medical benefitsDespite a different pathway of action, CBD seems to possess many of the same benefits of THC. According to a 2013 review published in the British Journal of Clinical Pharmacology (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/22625422), studies have found CBD to possess the following medical properties:

Medical Properties of CBD
Effects

Antiemetic
Reduces nausea and vomiting

Anticonvulsant
Suppresses seizure activity

Antipsychotic
Combats psychosis disorders

Anti-inflammatory
Combats inflammatory disorders

Anti-oxidant
Combats neurodegenerative disorders

Anti-tumoral/Anti-cancer
Combats tumor and cancer cells

Anxiolytic/Anti-depressant
Combats anxiety and depression disorders

Unfortunately, most of this evidence comes from animal studies, as very few clinical trials have been conducted using the chemical.
4. CBD reduces the negative effects of THCCBD seems to offer natural protection against the marijuana high. Numerous studies (http://bjp.rcpsych.org/content/197/4/285.long) suggest CBD acts to counter the intoxicating effects of THC, including memory impairment and paranoia.
Both CBD (http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/0041008X81901228) and THC (http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/0041008X73903104) have been found to present no risk of lethal overdose. However, to reduce potential side effects, medical users may be better off using cannabis strains with higher levels of CBD.
5. CBD is still illegalEven though CBD shows much promise as a medicine, it remains illegal in many parts of the world. CBD is classified as a Schedule I drug (http://www.fasebj.org/cgi/content/meeting_abstract/22/1_MeetingAbstracts/711.1) in the U.S. and a Schedule II drug (http://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/acts/c-38.8/page-25.html) in Canada.
On the other hand, the U.S. FDA recently approved (http://www.leafscience.com/2013/12/22/biggest-medical-marijuana-breakthroughs-2013/) a pharmaceutical version of CBD, marketed as Epidiolex (http://www.gwpharm.com/Epidiolex.aspx), for clinical trials in pediatric epilepsy. The trials began (http://www.leafscience.com/2014/01/10/epilepsy-scientists-find-marijuana-based-drug-hard-study/) earlier this year.
A patent awarded to the U.S. Health and Human Services in 2003 (US6630507 (http://www.google.ca/patents/US6630507)) also covers the use of CBD as a treatment for various neurodegenerative and inflammatory disorders.

No 1st hand knowledge but have researched it at length. I'd use it...if I don't already? Though not as an oil. I'd also have no problem giving it to a loved one either. It HAS to better than the crap the .med people will try and force upon you.

It also may not be illegal in Wash St.

Ditto here.

The FL legislature in their infinite wisdom drafted a bill that allows "Charlottes Web" to be prescribed here, (All CBD) developed by the Stanley Bros., in Colorado. Where it's available, I know not.

This Nov., we get to vote on the whole medical MJ thing.

Yeah, I'm in Fl too and watching it closely.

As I understand it the Charlottes Web oil is very weak in the scheme of things and has a narrow area of uses but that would at least be a start. And thanks, I meant to say Co but for some reason Wash St still rings a bell.

Yeah, you can get it here in Colorado. There's an apothecary I know that carries it. In fact, they ship it to all 50 states if you want some.

HEMP CBD OIL
Cannabis sativa
Cannabidiol (CBD oil) extract from industrial hemp

Cannabidiol (CBD) is a naturally occurring constituent/cannabinoid of the hemp plant. It is the most abundant non-psychoactive cannabinoid in hemp/cannabis, commonly used as a dietary supplement to support overall health.† Our high CBD, full spectrum cannabinoid oil blends are made from the highest quality hemp ingredients and are vigorously tested for their potency and purity. You can view the test results by clicking the green PDF links just above this paragraph. More information on our Hemp CBD oil is below on this page.

We are proud to consistently offer the highest quality hemp derived CBD oil. Through utmost dedication to our customer service and quality of product we have begun to truly stand out as a trustworthy source for pure and highly potent, legal cannabidiol oil.
We highly encourage researching cannabidiol (CBD) from reliable informational sources to see what is being investigated and discussed about CBD oil. We can send links to research and testimonials through private email request only.
__________________________________________________ __________________________

ABOUT OUR HEMP CBD OIL:

INGREDIENTS: 1) Hemp derived cannabidiol (CBD) CO2 oil extract, emulsified in 2) hemp seed oil
3) Rosemary extract (as a natural preservative)

1)Cannabidiol (CBD oil) extract-Cannabidiol (CBD) is a naturally occurring consituent/cannabinoid of the hemp plant. It is the most abundant non-psychoactive cannabinoid in hemp/cannabis.Our CBD oil extract is afull spectrum CO2 oil extraction of stalks and stems from a Hemp strain of Cannabis sativa grown in the U.K., legally imported through FDA tariff codes. Hemp (as opposed to marijuana) is usually ideal for cannabidiol (CBD oil) extractions as it is naturally high in CBD and low in THC, making it superior to most high-THC marijuana strains as far as cannabidiol (CBD) content is concerned.†

The hemp we use is grown in the U.K., on family farms in countries where it is legal to do so, and is done under the regulations of the governing bodies in those countries. Hemp, because of it's innate ability to thrive so easily doesn't require pesticides (the aromatic terpene compounds in hemp can actually act as natural pesticides), fertilizers, or herbicides in it's cultivation, and requires much less water than standard commercial farming. The hemp we derive our CBD oil from is NON-GMO and is grown under the same methods and standards of organic farming, but at this time there is no actual legal procedure for the organic certification of hemp cultivation in the countries we import our CBD oil from. We're expecting the process for organic certification of hemp to be available within hopefully a year, and we will officially certify ours as soon as that's possible.†

The CBD oil is extracted through a high pressured, supercritical CO2 extraction, and the raw CBD oil is then imported legally into the U.S. following FDA regulations, where it is further refined at a certified GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) facility. To determine the purity and potency of every batch of CBD oil each extraction is analyzed through a High Pressure Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) test for aerobic organisms, yeast, fungus, E. coli, and heavy toxic metals, and is also analyzed for the cannabidiol (+ other cannabinoid) potency. Once our final CBD oil products are prepared we have them further analyzed for their potency and purity by another party, a company based out of Denver called Cannlabs. With these multiple analyses performed we can weigh the CBD oil extract for making our blends knowing that the cannabidiol content is pure and consistent throughout every batch of Hemp CBD oil we make.†

Our cannabidiol (CBD oil) extract is a full spectrum cannabinoid extract. Besides the high content of CBD (we've had upwards of 26% CBD) there are also present naturally occurring trace amounts of CBC, CBD, CBG, THC + other cannabinoids, and many scientists and doctors think the cannabinoids work synergistically to support the whole human endo-cannabinoid system (internal and natural human cannabinoid system). And many scientists and doctors believe the endo-cannabinoid system plays a fundamental role in the functioning of many of the major human physiological systems, including the nervous and immune systems.†

2) Virgin Hemp Seed Oil-Cold pressed from hemp seeds grown in Israel. The hemp seed oil is also from an industrial hemp variety of Cannabis sativa which doesn't require herbicides, pesticides and fertilizers. Hemp seed oil is considered to be very nutritious, but the main purpose for it being in our blend is to have a base oil to emulsify the CBD oil extract in to. Because the CBD oil extract is a thick, tar like substance that is messy to handle and work with, it is much easier to package and consume when mixed into a base oil. And we figured if we're going to emulsify the cannabidiol (CBD) extract into a base oil, what more appropriate oil could there be to use for this purpose than hemp seed oil.†

STANDARD USE AND TYPICAL SERVING SIZE:Keep Hemp CBD oil refrigerated. Shake well before using. Most people swallow 15 drops or more, as desired. The amount of CBD oil that people take on a daily basis can vary greatly. Our CBD oil can be ingested morning or night, on an empty or full stomach. Shelf life is approximately 2 years.†

OUNCE, ML, DROP & CANNABIDIOL (CBD) MG CONVERSIONS:
1 fluid ounce = 30ml = 900 drops = 250mg cannabidiol (CBD)
1ml = 30 drops
30 drops = 8.333mg cannabidiol (CBD)
15 drops = 4.166mg cannabidiol (CBD)
900 drops = 250mg cannabidiol (CBD)

If 15 drops are taken twice a day, 1 ounce of CBD oil will last 30 days.
WE ENCOURAGE EXPERIMENTATION WITH SERVING SIZE. BECAUSE THE RESEARCH IS STILL IN ITS INFANCY (DESPITE BEING SEEMINGLY POSITIVE) IT IS NOT KNOWN WHAT METHOD OR SERVING SIZE IS BEST FOR X,Y, OR Z. AND BECAUSE HEMP PRODUCTS ARE CONSIDERED GENERALLY SAFE WE ENCOURAGE DOING YOUR OWN RESEARCH & EXPERIMENTATION IN ORDER TO FIND WHAT WORKS BEST FOR YOU.

I live in Texas and was trying to find out whether or not the CBD oil is legal in Texas - all I see are sick jokes about weed (THC), which is not what I am interested in. Does anyone know of a website which shows the legality of this CBD oil, state-by-state? That company is willing to ship to any of the states, but, who wants to risk it if your state is going to come after you? I am thinking only about the health benefits of the CBD oil (no high buzz at all, they say), so, where can I find out about Texas law without all the sick jokes? Do we have to move to Colorado in order to get the health benefits? That is sicko!

But, just in case, what part of Colorado has the lowest cost of living (housing-wise)? Just curious. I've lived in Texas over 70 years now, but, its true, those pricks in Austin sometimes make ridiculous laws and you'd better not cross them or you'll be in "a heap of trouble, son"!

I am still learning about CBD.

Overall, I have the impression that it binds with neuro-receptors in the body, instead of the mind. A very subtle effect, relaxing.

Some CBD rich strains for those interested -

My Auntie just diagnosed with cancer ,shes mid 80s ,the obvious thing would be to treat with med weed .In Australia that dosnt seem possible.

But the desperate mother is unapologetic.

"We tried 18 different combinations of anti-convulsant treatments before this, and she would still be having dozens of seizures every day,'' Ms Siery says. "Also the side effects of those drugs are severe. She can get a really bad rash and they effect her breathing and heart rate. She is sedated by them, tired and unable to eat.
"Since starting the tincture in December she went from having 60 seizures a day to about five and now they only last about one minute each instead of as long as five minutes. She is also more alert, has more movement, is aware of her body and is eating again.''
http://images.essentialbaby.com.au/2014/02/15/5170068/Larisa_353-300x0.jpg Jaylene noticed an almost immediate improvement in Larisa's condition after administering the cannabis tincture. Photo: Marina Neil.

Larisa's battles began almost from the moment she was born at Gosford Hospital on the NSW Central Coast on March 30, 2012.
Like most newborns, Larisa's first day of life was filled with feeding, sleeping and cuddles with mum and dad. However things quickly went downhill and Ms Siery and partner Peter Rule now remember those blissful 24 hours with their first baby as the calm before the storm.
At just two days old Larisa's tiny body began suffering uncontrollable seizures which led to her being transferred by helicopter to the Children's Hospital at Westmead, Sydney where she remained hooked up to monitors for weeks.
Larisa underwent countless medical tests in her first months of life which resulted in her being diagnosed with panhypopituitarism - due to an absent pituitary stalk - which means her body is unable to make essential hormones.
It was also discovered seizures during the first days of life left Larisa with brain damage which left her blind partially deaf. She has since been diagnosed with both epilepsy and cerebral palsy.
Ms Siery says her daughter has spent much of her short life in and out of hospital. In that time her seizures have worsened and late last year neurologists spoke to Larisa's parents about the possibility of palliative brain surgery in order to bring her condition under control. Although it is believed Larisa's seizures will eventually cause her brain to stop growing, surgery is not something her parents want to subject their little girl to.
In desperation Ms Siery asked doctors whether they thought medical cannabis could help her daughter and if they knew where she could source it.
"They basically just laughed at me,'' Ms Siery remembers. "But I had read about so many other kids being helped by it and we were at a stage where we would try anything to help Larisa."
Ms Siery's research led her to get in contact with Nimbin man Tony Bower who, as the director of his registered company Mullaways Medical Cannabis, is one of very few people in Australia who is open about the fact he produces medical marijuana products.
Mr Bower says his cannabis tincture oil "medicine" is low in THC, the compound which gives recreational marijuana users their high.
He says his oil, which is administered orally through drops under the tongue, is currently being used to treat seizures in about 200 children across Australia.
Mr Bower was imprisoned and sentenced to 12 months jail last year when police found him in possession of 200 cannabis plants. But his conviction was overturned on appeal and he was released after six weeks.
"I get hundreds of emails from parents each week asking if I can help them treat their children but I am unable to take many new patients on as I am limited in the amount of medicine I can produce,'' he says.
While Larisa is the youngest child in Australia whose parents have spoken about her taking cannabis tincture oil, Mr Bower says he has treated much younger babies.
"A lot of the damage which is done to the brain is done during seizures when they are only a few months old, so the younger they are treated the better the outcome,'' he says.
Larisa's family is thankful Mr Bower agreed to add her to his client list after he read a detailed description of the little girl's suffering.
"The results were almost immediate, we noticed an improvement on the second day we gave the cannabis tincture to Larisa,'' Ms Siery said.
Ms Siery and Mr Rule are now parents of two children following the birth of son Eli in November last year.
"Larisa is getting bigger now and her seizures can are harder to handle, and we have to look after our baby son too. Without the cannabis tincture our family life would become very difficult.''
Little Larisa's story is heart-breaking, but sadly it is not unique.
Thousands of parents across the country are constantly searching for new medications to help reduce the number and severity of seizures their epileptic children suffer on a daily basis.
They are calling on state and federal governments to support regulated clinical trials of cannabis oil and medical marijuana products in the hope they will one day be able to treat their children with it under a doctor's supervision.
Their calls are backed by the Epilepsy Foundation with the organisation's Client Manager Wayne Pfeiffer saying anecdotally cannabis tincture was effective in reducing the number of seizures experienced by some epilepsy sufferers.
"About 70 percent of people with epilepsy can control their seizures through the use of medication,'' Mr Pfeiffer said. "But for the other 30 percent who have tried as many as 12 different drugs and are still having uncontrolled seizures, I can see why they would be keen to try anything that may work.
"I particularly understand why parents would want to help their children get the best quality of life possible. We would support more regulated clinical trials of medical cannabis.''
However Australian Medical Association President Dr Steve Hambleton is adamant there is no scientific evidence which proves the benefits of cannabis products to treat epileptic seizures and that the well documented negative effects of long term marijuana use outweigh any benefits.
"A testimonial is not evidence. Because one person thinks it did or didn't work for them, that doesn't mean it does work or that it will have the desired effect for all people,'' he said.
"While it's illegal and highly likely cause more harm than good, parents should stick with known medicines and seek the advice of medical professionals."
Dr Hambleton said that given there are hundreds of chemicals in cannabis, there is a chance that one of them is beneficial in reducing the seizures suffered by epileptic children.
"If one of these chemicals is beneficial let's find out what it is,'' he said. "There are universities doing studies into that, and we are fine with those studies being done."
The concerns of long term effects of marijuana products to treat medical conditions was also noted by NSW Health Minister Jillian Skinner last year when the state government rejected a report calling for small amounts of cannabis use be decriminalised so it could be used as pain relief for people dying of cancer and AIDS.
"The government does not support the use of unregulated crude cannabis products for medical purposes as the potency and safety of these products cannot be guaranteed," Ms Skinner said. "The NSW government believes this will not prevent access to appropriate medical treatment for any patient in NSW, given the availability of safe and effective alternative medications".
Despite the fact there are no plans to make medical marijuana legal in Australia any time soon, in America a number of states have recently done just that.
In September last year New Jersey Governor Chris Christie signed a bill allowing sick children greater access to medical marijuana. The revisions to the bill, nicknamed "pot for tots," require that at least two doctors, including a pediatrician, approve the treatment and tightened the language to ensure that only minors could get access to edible forms of marijuana besides lozenges.
A Perth mother whose three-year-old daughter suffers up to 20 seizures a day due to a rare genetic condition says she would welcome a move to legalise medical marijuana in Australia.
"My daughter is on three anti-convulsant medications a day, plus a back up medication for abnormal or prolonged seizures, and she can still have anywhere from five to 20 seizures in a normal day.
"We have tried everything, she has been prescribed every type of medicine that she could be and nothing has worked. She is on the last three medications that might possibly work for her."
Due to her condition the little girl has developmental delays and can't walk or talk. Her desperate parents, who don't want to be named for fear of prosecution, are currently researching how to access medical cannabis.
"We are not expecting a miracle, we would just like our daughter to have some kind of quality of life. We would love for her to just have a break from the seizures,'' the mother said.
Queensland mother Christine McKay has been giving her six-year-old daughter Casey cannabis tincture oil since the middle of January and says it has made a dramatic difference to the quality of her daughter's life.
The family's decision to try the controversial treatment followed four years of trial and error with anti-epileptic medication and side effects which robbed the little girl, who began having epileptic seizures when she was two, of her quality of life.
Some medications left Casey unable to speak, walk or feed herself. Others controlled her seizures but led to extreme behaviour problems which meant the family was often unable to leave the house with her.
Ms Mackay hit breaking point at Christmas and told doctors she needed a sedative to control Casey's behaviour in order to make life bearable for her two younger children. But since starting the cannabis tincture oil treatment four weeks ago the family's life has improved significantly.
"We are seeing a happy Casey we haven't seen for a very long time,'' Ms MacKay said. "She is playing with her brother and telling us what she did at school when she gets home each day. We haven't seen her like this for a very long time."
Although Ms Mackay agrees it is too early to be certain the improvement in her daughter's condition is entirely due to the cannabis tincture, she said she would be devastated if she was no longer able to access it.
"The idea that we might not always be able to access it is a major concern. I don't know what we would do if we couldn't get it. We would be right back to square one again."
Larisa's family is equally fearful of losing access to cannabis tincture to treat their daughter.
"It would be terrible,'' Ms Siery says. "If we can't keep accessing cannabis tincture it would probably mean that Larisa's seizures would kill her."https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/9YAUuNF7q9ABTnFrnJtBIhCl1HIKxZeAgvQgDp1GjqlrNZFbV_ 7mVkU_Sf-89_SExFU7uPy1Yhd8ggjvlYCMDeJNsnoibudBRQhsVwQbIVD6z EU8ltGphvFc2w

With many of the worlds nations seriously considering legalizing cannabis it is important to recognize how far we've come since the days of reefer madness.
Touring Europe and being let on mainstream prime time TV has been a great experience because it is extremely encouraging in the face of hostility & ridicule.
Getting Hemp oil for cancer patients is just one objective and it ties into the entire medical system with the many conditions it cures, not just treat.
This makes it all the more important as the current medical system is basically the leading cause of death and who would argue that curing people is not a better result than killing them.

Cannabinoids And The Reason Why The Establishment Hates Them, Dr Bob Melamede

Dr Bob Melamede http://www.cannabisscience.com
Did you know that the human body is built out of cannabinoids?
Endocannabinoids that is, the cannabinoid from within.
They regulate the structure of everything within the human body including the mind, particularly open mindedness.
Some people are cannabinoid deficient which makes them less likely to adapt and change with the times, so naturally they tend to spend the majority of their time avoiding challenging situations and changing the world for the better, this makes them ideal politicians.
The world is split between these cannabinoid deficient BLPS (Backward Looking People) and FLPS (forward looking people) which one are you?

As far as cancer curing, it looks like cannabidiol, called "hemp oil" around here, is mainly for oil to rub on skin topically for skin cancer. Need to keep at it for at least 4 weeks. It draws cancer from deep down to the surface. I guess, but am not sure but you need to keep rubbing it on skin, at least doing so more intermittently, indefinitely so the cancer won't come back. There are no side effects so you cannot do yourself harm by just keep on using it for the long term. I personally think this keep on using it even when it looks all cleared up is crucially important. Most of us have a hard time keep doing this daily or almost daily task diligently. We
tend to drop this good habit as soon as we got what we wanted and "we're cured." Unfortunately cancer can keep lurking and coming back.

Also to note, with skin cancer, you gotta keep out of the garldurn sun - period. Getting some managed sun time every day is very good with other kinds of internal cancers.

http://healthyreport.info/?aid=2&aid=2

I really am interested in learning about what kind and form of cannabis has worked for internal cancers, like sarcoma in the flesh, not in bone, on lower part of body. Have heard there is something called cannabidiol tincture that you take under tongue and it can help with side effects of chemo, like seizures, and that is great, but still want info on reducing tumor size.

Will keep searching.

Health Review) – If you haven’t already heard, Cannabidiol (CBD) is a non-psychoactive component of Cannabis that seems to have a wide range of therapeutic benefits. CBD is naturally occurring in the Hemp plant and according to the United States own government patent #6,630,507 “it supports the nutritional health of aging bodies. Cannabinoids are found to have particular application as neuroprotectants, for example in limiting neurological damage following stroke and trauma, or in the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases, such as Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s disease.”

Some benefits scientists suggest people are getting from Cannabidiol (CBD)
• Reduced feelings of anxiety
• Reversing brain damage caused by alcohol
• Anti-inflammatory, neuro-protective, and anti-oxidant
We decided to see what expert medical doctors and product users had to say about Cannabidiol (CBD), and the results were surprising. In fact, Dr. Sanjay Gupta, a neurosurgeon, a medical professor and an Emmy award-winning chief medical correspondent for CNN concluded “…The science is there. This isn’t anecdotal. We have been terribly and systematically misled for nearly 70 years in the United States.”
For long term health and wellness use, CBD is one of the best ways to keep a body healthy. Studies suggest, for specific ailments, CBD may help in many ways.

5 Must-Know Facts About Cannabidiol (CBD)

Health (http://www.leafscience.com/topics/health/) Tech (http://www.leafscience.com/topics/tech/)
— Feb 23, 2014

http://www.leafscience.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/5-facts-cannabidiol-02-22-720x340.jpg(Photo:Coleen Danger/Flickr)

I've followed some YT comment threads where this vlogger lady "Ghost X Channel (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCk97uJ6sBqgyp3XRy8agUgA/videos)" has contributed. She's very 'syrupy' in her video & written comment presentations; and originally I rolled my eyes a bit at all her love/hugs/gratefulness talk; but I see more of her story in her comments, and wow she's known her share of hard times!

Single Mom, and one of her 2 boys is severely (vax damaged) autistic, & became very violent towards her as a teen. After getting run through the wringer with managing the now-teen, with failed pharma remedies; she's found the miracle cure in CBD. Here's a couple of her lengthy replies from a couple different video comment threads:

You're concerned about my baby and his well being, so of course I'd never be upset. That's very kind of you! ❤ Basically, what happened is about 14 yrs ago, I took my normal chatting baby in for his "well baby" visit. They said he needed his vaccines, & not knowing at the time, I cringed as they gave the MMR. We took him home & his fever immediately spiked to 103.5. I kept calling the nurse advice line because he was so red and we were doing everything they told us, and eventually his fever did go down, as did his newly formed vocabulary. He changed, but was always a very happy baby & all smiles. I prayed the words would come back, but they never did. Fast forward to about 6 mos ago, I had a raging teen with a limited vocab. A lot of echolalia & not much more. Lots of med changes & nothing worked. He's bigger than I am, & had been beating me 15x a day. Knocked out my teeth, chipped my leg bone, ruptured my intestine, black eyes, black arms to my shoulders and a lot of bad bruises on my legs. His favorite place to kick was my stomach (my muscles are torn apart & now over my hip bones so I need surgery asap, but it was too dangerous to come home to recover, so I postponed for nearly 2 years. I need 4 surgeries in that area, so omg it hurt!!) And he kicked out numerous windshields, sliding glass doors, walls, and my doors were down to splinters.... entire frame taken out to get to me. I was in hell and so was he. He'd get upset if he saw me cry, So he'd kick me in the stomach to stop. It was a living hell. I'd lock myself in the bathroom to get away, and during one of his hundreds of meltdowns, I came across an article that saved my life. Each time I'd lock myself in the bathroom, I'd take my phone to call 911 & research. The very last time, I read about the miracles of CBD oil. I found a somewhat local doc & paid $600 for an appointment & prayed for dear life. At the same time, after trying for years to get help, we finally got help from our regional center. They offered respite care during the weekdays so he could to to school in a bigger city where he could get better help & services. Everything happened all at once, but to try to make a very long story short, we tried the CBD & now have a new child. I went from nearly begging the state to take him and lock him up so he wouldn't kill me.... to now, I actually really miss him when he's in school during the week. Thank GOD for CBD!!! I also learned how pot smokers got a bad name. Big Pharma pushed that bs. They knew the healing properties that it has & how Asian countries had been using it for thousands of years, but they put out disinfo & kind of a "Ewwww... pot smokers are losers" campaign to stop people from using what is such a gift to this earth. I could go on for days about all of the many things it cures from seizures to autism & cancer, but I've already hijacked this thread too much & I feel so badly for it. I'll just say that if you know anyone going thru anything.... even menopause... to look into the benefits of CBD. It's an absolute miracle. I would have lost my son, had I not found it. Lastly, they've been selling it online, LEGALLY in all 50 states for $1 a pill for over 25 yrs!! Big pharma wanted to keep him sick & coming back for more drugs. One of his scripts was $903/mo. I'm beyond blessed for knowing about CBD now. Our life before it was absolute hell, & everyone who knows me saw the constant bruises and said they were shocked I held on so long. Well, when it's your baby & you know they were harmed by someone you are supposed to trust, you don't give up. I'll be honest, I was damn close. Getting beaten 15x a day wasn't fun. I'll NEVER allow my kids to get another shot, EVER. It's been proven now that in most cases, there's not even an active ingredient in shots to protect them from anything...... at all. Nothing but pure poison and lead. No way in hell would I make that mistake again. I've always signed a form saying it's against my religion, but they've changed it now here in Cali where you have to have a doctor's note stating that it'll cause damage if they take a shot. It may be hard to find a doc who will do that, so a lot of people will just take it. Not this mama. They're trying to scare parents now by saying it's medical neglect & they'll take your children away if you refuse the shots. I'll find a way around It, but unfortunately, a lot of parents won't. Last quick note... Did you know that they're now giving NEWBORNS the sex vax? Their excuse? "The kids are irresponsible at 13 & won't get in for their Guardasil shot" or whatever it's called. Newborns!!! I was sick to death when I heard that. There's been a very obvious agenda for years, & I'm praying that it'll change now with Trump. It's affected him personally with Barron, so I pray this will change soon & it will all be explained. Why have people won lawsuits from damage? They know exactly what they're doing. Imagine being a nurse & being instructed to inject this poison daily. I'd never do it. Never. I sincerely appreciate your thoughtfulness. Like I ssid, I'd never be offended by anyone who is looking out for my babies. I wish to God someone would have sooner. I sincerely appreciate your concern!! Thank you so much for caring. My babies mean the world to me. I love you so much for wanting to help us. You know, I'm so glad you brought this up. I'm going to do a video about it. Maybe it'll help others like me, who had absolutely no idea the govt or deep state was so evil. At the very least, maybe it'll get them to do their research like we have, right? If you get a chance, watch the doc called "Charlottes Web" & Google "Seizure CBD". It'll blow your mind. CBD is truly a God send. ☺❤❤❤❤❤ Warmest wishes and blessings to you, Sweetheart. Thank you so much your kindness! ❤❤❤❤❤

Omg thank you so much for reposting this!!!!! I wanted to look into them but had to get my video done, but isn't that an oil name? Rick Simpson? I seem to remember seeing Rick Simpson oil for sale somewhere, but maybe I'm crazy. I'm so grateful for all of the valuable info you shared with me! I'm truly grateful. Annnnnnything that'll help my baby, I'm willing to try. I was nervous about trying the CBD at first, but it was more a fear of something else that didn't work, ya know? Deep in my heart I knew we were on the right track tho by going natural, and omg am I glad we did. He's so happy now it's unreal!!! Not high happy, but more like "normal" happy. He says he's feeling much better, too. It's like now he doesn't have all of that severe aggression, so he can actually sit down and listen and learn. He's still verrrrrrry bouncy...lol...but he can actually focus now, and it's so beautiful to see him learning so much more than ever now. I wish this stigma could be lifted and i wish more people knew about it. I had no idea they've been selling it for 25 yrs online legally.... and in all 50 states!!! I feel like I've been given the biggest gift ever. I'm getting my baby back, and he's such a sweet, loving little boy. He's bigger than I am....lol... but always my baby boy. The biggest miracle is to have him back and not beating on me because he was so miserable and I know it was killing him when he'd hurt me. He'd knock out my tooth, see me get upset or cry, and then he didn't know how to handle seeing me cry, so he'd kick my stomach to get me to stop. He was so lost. I learned quickly not to cry! Now, the aggression is completely gone and all of the sweetness, hugs and kisses are back, and it literally makes my eyes tear up just to think about it. Words can't even begin to describe how happy I am.... I'm just praying I can teach him enough as quickly as possible so that he has a chance at a somewhat normal life. He's so intelligent, but he's been mixed up for so long. We have a lot of work to do for sure. It'll all be worth it, tho! I didn't believe a miracle would happen, but then I found the oil. I'm sure there are other little miracles out there waiting for us to find! I'm so grateful for your kind message and advice and so much help. I'm hugging you super tight right now! Do you feel it?? ☺❤❤❤❤❤ P.S. Neurocide..... damn..... couldn't have picked a better word. Sadly, it's brilliant. That's the best description I've ever heard.

Am helping my friend in North Texas who is having bad paid problems and is waiting for rather complicated back surgery. Other significant health problems too.

I heard David Seaman speak at length about how great it is for him living in Denver, Colorado, with legal medical marijuana easily available all over the place with dispensaries on every corner. This video was about a week ago and he has done one again that touched on the subject since them.

He held up this picture of some pills he is taking. I think they are like little candies."Super CBD Blueberry Chill Pills

Think I will make a paid long distance phone call to Colorado to try to purchase this specific product by mail.

I know none of us seem to have the complete facts on this.

Those pills Seaman held up contain 5 mg of CBD in each little blueberry flavored pill.

It is now legal to buy a product called "CBD oil" under various brands in all 50 states including Amazon.com, but I am not at all EXACTLY how much in milligrams is contained in each pill or drop of pure CBD oil or whatever form it is in.

THAT is what we need to know.

I have a feeling the "medical" marijuana products sold in the 6 or 7 states that have legalized it is of a strength that is meaningful for pain relief, so you would not have take ten pills of the kind in non-legalized states to equal one of them.

Here at this URL you will find a video by Dr. Gupta and other TV doctors.

http://www.theconsumer-savings.com/?fuid=NmQyNDlhNDk5MzJlODIzZDlhYzQ5OTNkODhmMTM3ZDM

At the end it offers you a free or low cost bottle of CBD oil but my friend just bought it and decided not to get the free offer but just go ahead and pay the full price as there was a lot of screens and steps to get the free. Sounds hokey to me. Which makes me think this kind of product called "CBD oil" is not the real deal that David Seaman was talking about.

Step 1: USE Pure CBD to Relieve Stress
This special offer ends: Sunday, 09 July, 2017

This thing looks totally flim flam and they do not tell you how many milligrams one drop under the tongue contains.

this is the good stuff David Seaman recommends...

I agree with you. Everything about the CBD oil sales seems very sketchy. It is all snake oil sales at this point in time. You have no idea what you are getting.

Cannabis THC Cures Cancer, Not CBD - Rick Simpson Oil Interview

Curing cancer with cannabis is working and THC is the main reason, not CBD, according to word renowned oil expert, Rick Simpson of Rick Simpson Oil. Listen to this full length interview with Cannabis.net and then read the transcript here.

______________________

I just noticed there is a link to the transcript of this show in the description of the YouTube video.

________________________

I took quite a few notes to see if If could get to the bottom of the confusion. I did to some extent but the confusion is still front and center.

Simpson said you need to get Endoca strain seeds. There are several strains that fall under the Endoca kind of seeds. There are varing percentages of THC in each of the strains but Endoca strains are generally very high 20 % or more in THC.

Simpson said he never promoted in any way "CBD oil". He has always promoted "high THC oil"

You have to use Rick Simpson's extraction method that he describes in his books available on his website or another publishing company or as an Amazon Kindle book.

High THC oil which does contain CBD oil is what is recommended for cancer and I guess some of the more major diseases. CBD oil is a separate molecule and you can get the exact same molecule from hemp or from cannibis plants, but the isolated molecule does not contain psychoactive THC regardless if from hemp or from cannibis.

I sent an email to the company that makes and sells in Colorado those blueberry flavored pills that contain 10 mg of THC in each pill to see if I can purchase them by mail - probably not but will see. The word "medical" is used next to the description of those blueberry pills. Several other their other products have the word "recreational" next to the description.

David Seaman gave the impression that you can just go in and buy any products in those Colorado dispensaries, but now I understand to buy "medical" marijuana in Colorado you have to have some kind of medical certification paper that I guess one obtains from their M.D. and you must present it at the dispensary with each purchase. I guess, again nothing is clear on this, if you purchase products labeled "recreational" you do not need that medical certification.

One comment on the Rick Simpson video by a person who got busted bad for growing his own MJ in his own house...
Sounds like you have to grow many plants to produce enough oil for one person to take regularly for several months.
Sounds like in the USA living in a city, you have to get grow lights and a large indoor room and just grow the plants completely indoors.
I dated a guy in my much younger days who showed me his pot plant in his garage.

If you live in a city, it is too easy to get caught growing MJ if you grow in your back yard or patio. There are meter readers and cable company people who have to come in your yard as well as when there are utility outages and then there are yard maintenance people.

I guess the processing is much simpler if you only want to dry the buds and roll it into joints, thatis, if you do not do the extraction process for a tincture or oil.
You get some help with pain and maybe a little help with treating cancer cells by smoking but mainly for cancer treatment you have to take the oil extract.

Simpson said high THC oil is a good gateway drug to take one AWAY FROM heroin and other opiods addiction.

He wrote in part...

People [ please, please ] be careful out there. I grew M/J and to grow aprox say 5 pound of quality bud you will need to grow aprox [ in the UK ] 2 kilos which is roughly speaking 72 ounces and a reasonable plant using indoor lighting [ no chemicals ] [ afghan ak47 ] produces aprox 3 ounces per plant so divide 72 by 3 you get 24, there fore you would need 24 plants at least to provide enough medicine at say 1 pound = 2 ounces of oil, consumed at 2 grams a day is enough medicine for 28 days, so 5 pound is enough for 140 days [ UK ] 2 kilos the same calculations 140 days worth of medicine, aprox 4.6 months per person. I did do this for a few friends, 2 had MS one had arthritis issues and 1 had Parkinson's plus I smoked it also for anxiety and to help me sleep [ I was previously addicted to zopiclone sleeping tablets for 24 years ] my wife vaporizes it too so I was growing aprox 50 odd plants. I got busted lost my business of 28 years they took my savings my private pension my car + wifes car my motor bike my home in fact every thing I have worked for and paid for in my entire life and I also went to prison for 1 and a half years my wife for 6 months and still it goes on, I am now left penny less home less no job no career no money/car/ and labelled a criminal [ a drug dealer of death ] the news papers called me, we are seriously screwed and the thing that gets me is firstly the police lied to make things look much worse and were only interested in money/money/money [ proceeds of crime ] they said I fixed the electricity meter till I proved they lied it was then quietly dropped and so on, I could go on as we were fleeced of every thing we had and made to look like some kind of Mexican drug baron bearing in mind I did once get a speeding ticket 8 years ago, so let this be a warning to you there not interested in why we did it only in making as much money they can extort from you the prison sentence is just a side issue. The law is the law run by big business and bankers supported by our politicians who instruct the police to control us spy on us and crush us if we step out of line which we [ the people ] pay for out of our taxes or at least I used to when I had a job [ business ] "

If growing and processing your own ever becomes legal, and it will some day, you still need to know exactly how much THC will be produced from certain strains of seeds sold. That does not exist now, even with legally authorized "university"' type enterprises where they are allowed to manufacture products.

That is one advantage of the legal-MJ U.S. states' dispensaries, as they show on the package how much THC is in the product. That company that sells the blueberry pills sells a recreational cookie that contains 100 mg. That sounds like a good size dose that could help with pain.

" families treating their kids' life-threatening cancer with hyper-potent weed oil and getting them super high. Is this OK or a symptom of too-loose marijuana laws?"

I think a child getting high in their home with their loving parents trying to save the child's life is far better than the child having to go in and out of the hospital or hospice and take chemo and radiation until they cannot eat and become so thin and listless that they can barely do anything and then they die anyway.

The laws are not designed to allow maximum freedom to individuals and families.
The laws are not designed to allow access to truly helping and healing modalities.
The laws are designed by BigPharma / bankster types who just care about the government getting in on the money that comes from MJ.

Bingo.

The parent is the ultimate and final authority on the care of the child.

If a parent is derelict in that duty ...they will answer for it to the ULTIMATE AUTHORITY.

But the state in its vain hope of trying to be god does its damdest to try and engross itself into that chain of command.

Just got a free downloadable helpful booklet on CBD oil.

Go to this website...

https://www.endoca.com/

Click on the pop up box where you answer one question and you get entered in a contest to win some products and you get the free booklet.

The answer to the question in the drop down menu of choices is Hemp.

Then you get the button to get the free pdf booklet. It is a fast read and clears up a lot of things. Seems honest and legit.

I was not impressed so much with their products.

I had already today purchased a 25 mg capsule from a local compounding pharmacy. It seemed to have complete labeling. It was $84 dollars for that 30 day, one pill a day, supply plus $5 shipping. I can call or email them and speak to pharmacists there so I feel pleased with my choice.

The booklet I just read makes me feel even more comfortable and the price is very comparable.

I am going to try it for 30 days as an experiment and see if I get some help with my relatively minor but many inflammatory autoimmune conditions. I think I will have a good way of guage whether I am getting reduction in inflammation.

If it really helps me and I can tell that for sure, then I will have to contemplate how I will be able to keep on buy it because it is completely out of my budget.

https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0721/4009/products/PlusCBD_Oil_Capsules-_30ct_1024x1024.png?v=1453752732

Each pill is 25 mg and that is kind of high compared to 10 mg other pills but there should be few or no side effects.

The booklet said take on empty stomach and not at bedtime as it can be stimulative to some. It also can make some people sleepy. ???

I will report back on my expensive experiment.

I have been taking one 25 mg pill of CBD oil made from agricultural hemp for I guess a little over 10 days. I really do not see any change or improvement in any of my relatively mild conditions. I was hoping that it would hold down the auto-immune / chronic inflammation I have, manifesting mainly in my eyes. There may be a slight improvement there but it is really too soon to tell. When I use up the whole bottle, I will report again. Will have to see some clear signs my autoimmune probs are diminishing for me to continue purchasing the pills. I got them at a local drug store and they delivered it to my door step the next day by their own delivery truck.

Rick Simpson says for big pain and for cancer you have to have THC as well as the right strains of MJ for the oil.

Get in the sun or vitamin D which is technically a steroid that helps stop the auto-immune deal. I don't know much about the cannabidiol.

Just to let let thread know about my experience with taking CBD oil pills. I thought I was getting a 30 day bottle containing 30 pills but really got 60 pills so it was about $90 for two month supply at one a day, so my experiment was not expensive as I thought since it cover twice as long as I thought.

I have been taking one pill a day for 34 days.

I notice absolutely no improvement or change in any direction on the problems I was hoping to see improvement on.

I will continue taking pills until they run out.

It was a learning experience and now I learned that for me the pills did nothing.

Over the counter hemp CBD oil which is legally sold in all states without a prescription is just a way to charge huge amounts of money for something that is cheap and cheap to make, so markup is like 500 percent.

Glad I tried and did the experiment because if it would have helped even a small amount on any of my health problems it would have been worth it. I have more knowledge now about something that does not work for me and my problems.

I would say keep listening, reading and learning, but also put on your critical thinking cap before you shell out your money.

Lots of hype in the alternative health supplements arena on lots of subjects. Lots of ways to get us to try things and spend a lot of money.

Many of the people, some of them M.D.s who are increasingly not to be trusted for integrity or professional knowledge and expertise, touting a particular something by brandname are probably getting some kind of kickback or under the table money scheme.

When someone has our trust on the web for integrity and they say they are not getting any kind of promotional payments of any kind, then one can decide to try the product as an experiment.

However, I do not think I will be doing any more expensive experiments for a long time. My budget just cannot afford it.

I got around to looking for some CBD oil to buy & try, purely for experimentation, maybe its prophylactic quality, who knows what I'll find? Energy? Deep sleep? As it stands, CBD is "a (rather spendy) solution without a problem" in my world.

Right or wrong, my first stop was amazon, just to scope out the landscape. I often zero in on products this way via amzn with their vast selection & reviews, then go straight to the seller's website to actually buy.

Filling in the search box with CBD, it suggests auto-complete with ...CBD oil, then I further narrow it with their "Health & Household" sub-store.
https://www.amazon.com/s/?ref=nb_sb_ss_c_3_4?url=search-alias%3Dhpc&field-keywords=cbd+oil

^ and the results populate with a bunch of "hemp oil" products! Unsure if that's just another expression for CBD, I search it up:
https://duckduckgo.com/?q=difference+CBD+%26+hemp+oil

^and I find they're different! Is it some sort of scam to confuse, & profiteer off said confusion, selling lower cost hemp oil for the price of CBD?!

At the moment, closest to pulling the trigger on that stuff Susan Posel was pedaling in my reply #12 (http://gold-silver.us/forum/showthread.php?78915-Anybody-know-about-Cannabidiol&p=742679&viewfull=1#post742679) -- https://cbd-healthcare.com

atm, 1oz tincture/drop bottles range from $45 - $240, tied directly to their 250-1500mg range (250, 500, 1000, & 1500mg). Only a small savings as you climb the milligram ladder: low end, $1 = 5.55mg; top end, $1 = 6.25mg. In fact, all of the latter three mg levels work out to the same $1 per 6.25mg.

So it seems more a question of, how much "inconvenience" are you willing to endure, in # of drops you add to your daily _____, for the same mg of CBD?!

Any thoughts? AFAIK, the only one who's piped up that they're actually trying CBD was Dachsie. Dachsie? :)

EDIT, just noticed Dachsie's nice summary in reply #43 (http://gold-silver.us/forum/showthread.php?78915-Anybody-know-about-Cannabidiol&p=907328&viewfull=1#post907328). Thx! --H H-- Do you mind sharing the brand, & your mg/day level, for your fruitless experiment? Rick Simpson warns of all the scammers, some even impersonating him & his website!! :(

PatColo

Pulled the trigger on the $80 500mg drops from Susan Posel's source, https://cbd-healthcare.com/1oz-nano3-500mg-multi-spectrum-terpene-water-soluble-nano-hemp-drops/

Given my "solution without a problem" situation, I'd frankly need to discover some phenomenal results, like zero aches/pains, amazing energy/sleep (I do have a touch of insomnia, actually! :(), mental acuity, etc, for me to go for a 2nd round when these drops are finished! And properly assessing will be complicated by my also buying some "raw greens superfood powder", also arriving this week; so I'll be beginning that experiment concurrent with the CBD. & that powder is likely to be the main source of whatever difference I feel from day to day! :|~ Impossible to separate the 'effects' of these 2 supp's.
