I like how he calls his #1 recommendation (the GM mini van) "not super reliable". lol What an understatement. And what a POS.

One would be far better off with a vintage '60s-'80s Ford or Chevy/GMC truck.

His glaring omission - the very high likelihood of 'toll roads' and 'toll bridges' being set up by locals when sugar turns to shit. The truth is, if you have to hit the road when things have turned to shit the chances of one SUCCESSFULLY getting to one's destination in one piece (up to 400 miles!!!) are not that good.

There's this crazed woman I was seeing for three months, definitely a full blown hardcore prepper (and also a full blown hardcore Zio-Christian which is why I quit seeing her - it was ALWAYS about those scary moozlems with her). She was FULLY prepared with a 'get home bag' in her little SUV. She was going to ditch her SUV if and when necessary and hoof it back home (in her scenario at the time would have been 100+ miles). I'm absolutely convinced she would have made it back home with the way she had set up her get home bag.

Why did you let that gem go? Over religion? 99% of women only care about fashion, facebook, or some other BS. If you have a gal that's a hard core prepper, compromising a little can go a long way.

Fuck that, Zio Christians are worse than Jews, because by definition they are too stupid to see what's really going on, complete liability.

Yeah, FUCK THAT! Combine the Christian Zionism with the mindset "I'm never wrong, EVER!" and you have an extremely insufferable and very unpleasant situation. I had several conversations with her regarding "Exactly WHO do you think is stirring the pot?? A bunch of poor, largely uneducated sand niggers??" And those weren't her only issues*, that's just scratching the surface. I want to have FUN riding out the storm, not 'enduring it' with some insufferable woman with issues (which she didn't think she had, she was definitely an unrepentant anosognosiac).

*after hearing of some of her life experiences I was putting her at arm's length especially after she told me, "I have a full auto M-16 buried." (No, don't tell me any more, I DO NOT WANT TO KNOW! But wait! THERE'S MORE!!!**) Holy shitstorm. Just what I need, free room and board in the Graybar Hotel.

**that'd be the Browning 1919 'semi-auto' belt fed *AND* the FA side plates for it (the one she 'misplaced', but that's a whole other disturbing story by itself)

The very moment someone starts talking to me about some fucking suppressor, machinegun, subgun, SBR, SBS, DD, etc. outside the NFA registry I immediately disassociate and distance myself from them, never speaking with them again. I don't need that sort of nonsense in my life.

OK, I understand now. Bipolar as well? Been there, her name wasn't Sarah was it? That's the type of gal you need a good bug out vehicle just to get away from. I had to actually go to Europe to escape in the past. If it happens again, I'll take the advise in this video and use my sailboat to sail away from the madness.

After my experience with the Mercedes Biodiesel's, which I made the mistake of en-trusting to a mechanic who broke one of them & then went AWOL ...

I talked to a local Senior/ Elder to double-check my conclusion ...

he said "yes"

my conclusion being ... "Do It Yourself" ... relative to your bug-out vehicle.

if you can afford it, buy 2 & take one completely apart.

i thought you could delegate "primary mechanic's duty" ... MISTAKE.
