In the past I've been a long ways in to the back country wilderness in and around Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks. Had a couple of things happen while camped there that I still wonder about. These stories are interesting and something that should be taken in to consideration when venturing in to the national parks. I've listened to a lot of these kind of stories over the years and there are two pieces of advice that seem to be good advice and consistent. Don't go alone and don't go unarmed. The government doesn't want you carrying fire arms in national parks but I don't think you should pay any attention to those communist bastards and SOB's, just keep your weapons out of sight.

Thought I'd add that the government employees I ran in to when I was in the back country were assholes that seemed to like to bully people and were always looking for some thing they could chew your ass for.

I live adjacent to the largest cluster of National Forest in the lower 48 states so I naturally find this interesting. I can't comment of the pattern of missing shoes other than the lack of media coverage it gets. I will say that it's quite common for National Park and National Forest officials to deny the existence of large predators in areas where they are sometimes seen and reported by individuals.

From what I gather after listening to a lot of these stories here that I"v posted and others that you should never go off in the wilderness alone and if you do a 44 magnum, 357 magnum or 45-70 rifle seem to be the minimum requirements if you don't want to disappear or have some one find only your shoes after you've turned up missing.

I usually carry a 44 magnum or at least a 44 special when out in the woods. Maybe Darwin's agenda is at work here. Only liberals from the cities venture out unarmed in my neck of the woods.

Hey, the bears need to eat too! Ya don't want to be bear food?... stay home? City dwellers have no idea how dangerous it is in the wilderness. Most of them think they'll meet that nice Smokey the Bear or maybe Yogi Bear who they see on TeeVee. They deserve what they get!

I believe David Paulides has a book out on hunters disappearing now too. I think in an interview he said bow hunters are a lot more likely to turn up missing than gun hunters. People out alone seem to be the most vulnerable.

A couple of videos here of things that can happen. The first one is of a park ranger turning loose a captured bear and it's a good thing he was packing a .357. The second one is of a hiker being stalked by a mountain lion.

One thing that strikes me as odd is that these are all National Park disappearances. What about National Forests? Don't National Forests cover about ten times as much land as National Parks?

In National Parks carrying handguns is generally illegal. In National Forests it's the norm.

I think you've made a pretty good point for why so many people are disappearing in the national parks and it's because they are gun free zones. What ever predators are there have gotten used to people being around and don't fear them. Makes it easy pickings for them. I haven't come across any statistics that compare disappearances on national park or forrest service land but it would be interesting to see one.

I think if people are going hiking in those places they should always be armed whether the government likes it or not. You just need to find something that isn't to hard to conceal that still has pretty good knock down power. I think the glock subcompact in 357 sig is pretty good because it's not so hard to conceal and you've got a lot of fire power with it. 125 grain fmj bullets will penetrate and break bones. I've got a glock 33 that I carry all the time in a shoulder holster on one side and with a magazine pouch on the other side for two 15 round magazines. It's comfortable and pretty concealable.

I used to own a section of desert land next to Big Bend Natl Park in Texas and hiked all over that park, well armed with a concealed handgun of course. One day I was driving a remote road a half mile from the meskin border and seen a cat that looked just like a Mountain Lion except for it was darker and only weighed about 20 pounds. The cat had a long tail like a Lion so I know it wasn't a Bobcat. It walked like an aged animal, careful not to waste the slightest bit of energy, so it could not have been a juvenile lion, aside from the dark color.

When I got back home a few days later I called the Park biologist and told him I had seen a Jaguarundi in the park (their literature says there are none there). He condescendingly told me it was not a Jaguarndi, just a young Mountain Lion.

I've spoken to many others with similar experiences. USFS and other governmental agencies habitually deny the existence of predators in spite of all the reported sightings.

We have cougars here. Many sightings over the years and tracks also. The DNR claims they don't exist here. I don't know why. One has been seen crossing the road in front of my home. These things are dangerous. I would not let my grandkids play unattended. Also, there are eagles that could certainly carry off a small child or infant and I'm sure it has happened before.

Is there anything else you wish to add to this thread, Shlomo? Naw , but! ;D

I do hold to my words which are true. In about a year once I pay off my mazda which in 5 years I have less than 4500 miles on the clock, am thinking of selling/trading it along with my house and getting a road king or better scooter with trailer and then hit the road 24/7/365 until I check out from this life. Call it an ultimate adventure..hehe. Still would like to meet you along my travels and share a cup of or what ever, we both are not young and are looking at the end sooner than later. In many ways I am a biker, better than 50 years riding, and intend to go out as one doing what I enjoy, into the wind seeing what I can see until the end.

My words to you I hold true, you do see what maybe is not true but in your mind or at least what you post seems to be major paranoia when it comes to jews, which you are methinks misdirecting from the real threat. Which is the major rich types /corporations/military industrial complex that really are the ones in control and own all or most of our political critters. Would love to ride with you ether on bikes or hay burner hehe . And swap lies and mixed truths around a fire under a starry night or so sucking down a cup of coffee or what ever as I make my final road trip however long it takes. I think cussing/discussing with you would and can be a total hoot. ;D

Live life to the max as far as gusto goes, I intend to soon, but will be doing so with care , no need to be stupid. We spend our lifes learning, one way or another to what ends?

For they that learn, probably for the better, they that stay in their ruts/blaming all ills on others without looking into a mirror, in my mind are doomed but they that do look will probably be seeing the real reasons for their ills..themselves!

Food for thought !

Peace

I've heard some stories the border patrol agents tell and they speak of things that aren't supposed to be there either. It seems to be hushed up by the government and I always wonder why. Seems like the agents also keep silent because they don't want to be ridiculed or lose their jobs. They also sometimes leave those jobs because of what they've seen that get into the strange and paranormal.

Two different neighbors of mine just recently had a couple cats and three goats killed by coyotes.
I've been hearing them howl and yip at night for years but they always kept their distance.
Not sure what made the difference in attitude. It's not like there's been any environmental disturbances and the weather's been normal. A bit of a dry spell? I don't know
Oh, and a bear got into the garbage about a week ago. Something must be disrupting predator habitat around here.

Around here (Western Montana) the coyotes don't howl. I'm told they did before the wolves were introduced. Makes sense. The elk don't bugle anymore either. Why ring the dinner bell?

I've heard of a couple bear attacks in which the rear person was pulled out of line. In one of those cases the people were riding horseback.

The cases in which a child was nearby and the parents looked away, then turned back to find the child gone sound like Mountain Lions. Lions are very good at hiding in the brush motionless and watching their victims eyes for opportunity to advance, then freezing in crouched position just before being seen.

I'm trying to speculate on the "missing shoes" victims. In many of these cases it seems the person lost all sense or reason. Also noticed many of those cases were at high elevation. I haven't found any information indicating that elevation sickness causes people to go completely stupid, though.

Professional runner from Kenya outruns two black bears while training in Maine woods

7 July 2017 • 1:45am

A professional runner from Kenya has described how he escaped two black bears in Maine by outpacing them.

Moninda Marube was out training on a nature trail in the woods near his home when he encountered the two charging bears

When he saw the bears early on Wednesday, he said his instincts kicked in and he did what he does best: run.

He told the Sun Journal that the bears were 20 yards (18 meters) away from him and a vacant house was 20 yards away in the opposite direction.

So he made a run for the house near Auburn Lake, with the bears closing to within 10 yards (9 meters) by the time he found safety on the house's screened porch.

The bears stopped, not realising they could've easily crashed through the flimsy porch screens, Marube said. They sniffed around for a while before wandering away.

Wardens advise people who encounter black bears to make themselves appear big, make noise and back away slowly. But they recommend people stand their ground if a black bear charges and say if the bear attacks, then fight back.

But Marube said that's easier said than done.

He said he knew that black bears can climb trees, so he couldn't climb to safety. He said he considered jumping in a nearby lake, but he can't swim.

He said he initially engaged in a stare-down with the bears but the bears charged the moment he turned his back on them.

Marube, a student at the University of Maine at Farmington who finished third in the 2012 Maine Marathon and won the 2013 half-marathon, said he'd once encountered a leopard perched in a tree while alone in Africa - but the bears were scarier.

He said he learned an important lesson from his close encounter with Maine's wildlife: "Just make peace with people. You never know when your day comes."

I listened to an interview a while back of a guy named Tim Baker that did research for the government on infra sound. It can cause disorientation, anxiety, extreme fear, blurred vision, vomiting and loss of control of your bowels among other things. It may be part of an animals growl or roar that has a paralyzing affect on the intended victim. It can come from a lot of different sources and I wonder if this may have some thing to do with people wandering off and taking off their shoes or other pieces of clothing. Infra sound seems to affect some people and animals more than others. It also may be a tool of some animals to paralyze their prey.

There's a short article at this link that gives a little more information about it and sources of it. http://www.strangerdimensions.com/2013/06/21/infrasound-the-fear-frequency/

Below is a video where infra sound is discussed and the possibility of tigers using it to paralyze their prey.

I never thought about it that way. It does make sense because predators do things for a reason. If they're in a confrontation with an adversary , they're not going to waste any energy on anything that isn't necessary. But do they actually roar at prey when there is no reason other than intimidation?

Tumbleweed

do they actually roar at prey when there is no reason other than intimidation?

Good question and I don't know the answer and haven't heard any answer to that. Dogs hear sounds that we don't and it's interesting in a lot of missing person searches the tracking or cadaver dogs won't hunt or track. They just sit down and refuse to do anything. I wonder if they're hearing infra sound.

I've listened to stories hunters tell of feeling anxiety or extreme fear for no obvious reason when nothing dangerous was in sight but sometimes appeared after they had those feelings. Were they picking up on infra sound and were they receiving a level of it that was causing those feelings of fear?

Tim Baker said the sound you hear in the spring when turkeys are strutting and dragging their wings on the ground is infra sound. I hear that a lot in the spring because I have a lot of turkeys around. I can be in the house and will hear a low rumble and also feel it in my chest. From what I recall of what he said there are different levels of infra sound and the different levels have different effects. What the turkeys are doing is a mating call.

Some animals do seem to communicate with infra sound and may also use it for other things such as paralyzing their prey with extreme fear.

I've got a 45-70 rifle, but I like to fly fish, so I take a small concealable 38 special +P revolver with some hot loads with me. It fits nicely in my right front pocket, and I keep it loaded while fly fishing with a couple of speed loaders ready. I wonder what you all think if that is sufficient enough for self defense while out in the woods alone. I tend to fish and hike alone.

This is an eye opening thread, and I've watched about 5 videos already. Some of the disappearances just seem to make no sense.

Regarding the shoes. A theory about that comes to mind. Sometimes folks take off their shoes while taking a break from hiking, to air out their feet, move their toes, check for blisters, adjust socks, etc. Whatever. At that time, they are not moving, sitting down usually (which makes them look small and indefensible). Plus, they are focused on their feet, looking down at them, not aware of their surroundings. That's the perfect time for a predator to attack.

I guess it would depend on what was stalking you or what you might encounter. The gun and ammo in this video below I'll post should be sufficient to deal with any threat you might encounter.

Bear attacks camp staffer at Glacier View Ranch Christian retreat northwest of Boulder

Eric Lupher (eric.lupher@kmgh.com), Amanda del Castillo (amanda.delcastillo@kmgh.com)
UPDATE: Officials said Monday they have killed a bear believed to be the one that attacked a camper. Get the latest details here (http://www.thedenverchannel.com/news/local-news/wildlife-officials-capture-kill-bear-following-attack-in-boulder-county).
BOULDER COUNTY, Colo. -- Parks and wildlife officials are looking for a dangerous bear that attacked a Christian camp staffer and dragged him roughly ten feet from his campsite in Boulder County early Sunday morning.
The attack happened around 4 a.m. at Glacier View Ranch, a Christian camp site located northwest of Boulder in the Town of Ward.
Officials told Denver7 the 19-year-old staffer, named Dylan, woke up to the bear biting his head and trying to drag him away. Fellow staffers tried to scare the bear away to save the teen's life. The animal eventually left on its own.
"The crunching noise, I guess, was the teeth scraping against the skull as it dug in," Dylan told Denver7's Amanda del Castillo.
Dylan said he and four other staffers were in sleeping bags along the camp's lakefront.
"It grabbed me like this and pulled me. Then it bit the back of my head and drug me," he said, pointing to scars on his forehead.
Dylan said the bear dragged him ten to 12-feet away before he was able to free himself. "When it was dragging me, that was the slowest part. It felt like it went forever."
Wilderness Survival is something he is very familiar with, teaching the subject at camp.
"I'm not afraid of the bears. I'm not afraid of sleeping outside anymore. You just have to be aware and respect the animals," Dylan said.
Following the attack, Dylan was taken to a hospital and has already been released, according to Jennifer Churchill with Colorado Parks and Wildlife.
Dan Hansen, director for the Glacier View Ranch, told Denver7 the bear wandered into the main area of campus where several staff members were sleeping. "Unprovoked, the bear proceeded to attack one staff member," he said.
"Campers were not threatened or involved at any time," Hansen said in a press release obtained by Denver7.
A summer camp program at Glacier View Ranch will continue through July 16, Hansen said in a statement, adding that staff is trained for contact, interaction and incidents with wildlife including moose, wild cats and bears.

But Park and Wildlife officials said that "the dangerous bear is still in the wild" and has not been caught by authorities. Officials are asking outdoor enthusiasts to be extra vigilant.
This most recent bear encounter comes after four bears were killed in the Durango area on Wednesday (http://www.thedenverchannel.com/news/southern-colorado/4-bears-killed-in-1-day-in-colorado).

No details on just exactly what he did to fight off the bear. The Ranger said it was not common behavior for a Black Bear. If you were to say something is not common human behavior, it would sure cover a lot of ground.

Large predators do have typical behavior patterns but they are individuals subject to different levels of curiosity, temper, agressiveness etc.

Aliens. Didn't Eisenhower meet with aliens and make some kind of deal? The aliens would share technology but they wanted to harvest humans to study and breed with. Eisenhower said okay but don't make it obvious.

^ I read a story like that in the past but I have no idea if there's any truth to it. I've never seen a UFO or a Bigfoot but I've heard stories of people who claim to have seen things like that and they sound credible. I'll be damned if I know if they really do exist. I'd have to see something like that to make up my mind and I've been out in the wilderness and I never saw anything unusual along those lines.

The big cat population is so dense here, they're literally on top of each other (Socal mountains at 7000'). Kids go missing often. The parents turn their heads and the kids are gone.

I mountain bike and hike 100% solo. Most times I have two large dogs. I always have a 10mm in a Hill People chest rig.

Rangers set up wilderness base camp to continue Stevens search

September 15, 2017

A 28-year-old New Jersey man still had not been found as of late Friday afternoon, and forest rangers have set up a backcountry base camp from which to continue the search over the weekend if necessary.

Deep in the High Peaks Wilderness, forest rangers from the state Department of Environmental Conservation are poring over the north side of Wallface Mountain for Alex Stevens, who was last seen near the base of that mountain on Sept. 2.

They set up a base camp at Scott Pond, on Wallface's north side. If Stevens was not found Friday, a team of forest rangers plans to work out of that camp Saturday and, if necessary, Sunday. Without having to be flown in and out of the wilderness area by helicopter, they'll be able to conduct longer search operations, DEC spokesman Dave Winchell said Friday......

Final update..... seems he was alive until 3 days prior to them finding his body. This is why leaving an itinerary is so important. He was 5 days overdue before he was reported missing.

A hiker from New Jersey found dead Monday after disappearing for more than two weeks in upstate New York reportedly died from pneumonia caused by exposure.

Alex Stevens, 28, of Hopewell, may have survived until three days before he was found, the local coroner and medical examiner told the Adirondack Daily Enterprise.

Stevens was last seen was by hikers Sept. 2 at the base of Wallface Mountain in the Newcomb area, according to New York State Police. He had planned only a three-day hike.

He was reported missing by friends Sept. 9 after he failed to show up in New York City.

Officials told the newspaper that a lack of food, the constant wet environment and the cold led to pneumonia.

In this earlier post I mentioned I'd listened to some stories that sounded credible and I've come across one that was taken down and unavailable for a long time. Infrasound and government covering up what's going on are discussed.

This person who is interviewed seems to be an insider who has seen government emails or reports that are kept from the public on what's going on in national parks. I would suggest listening to these now if you have the time because they may disappear again. Part 1 is interesting and part 2 is even more interesting and probably most likely to disappear again sometime soon.

Listen and decide for yourself. I still don't know one way or another as I've said in an earlier post but I do wonder about these things.

Another video of people who have vanished in the wilderness. There was a woman spoken of that vanished in the Shoshone National Forest in Wyoming in I believe 1997. I was in there in the 1980's Elk hunting with some friends. We were about 14 miles from the nearest road. We weren't far from Yellowstone Park where we set up our camp. One night something came into the camp and we were all in a 14x16 wall tent. I couldn't hear it because I'd already damaged my hearing with gunfire.

We had our rifles leaned up against a couple of posts with a bar across the top. I think there were seven of us and all the others could hear something prowling around outside. We talked about what we were going to do about and one of the guys just jumped up, grabbed a 45-70 and ran outside blazing away. When he got back we asked him if he'd seen anything and he said no but he emptied that 45-70 anyway. Must have scared the hell out of whatever it was because we didn't have any more problems with prowlers.

Rusty has some wintertime stories in this video. The last one is in South Dakota but I don't know where the school is that's mentioned in the story. I'll have to inquire about that. The land east of Rapid City is flat or rolling hills with deep canyons in places. It also gets in to the Badlands and Pine Ridge reservation where some of it gets pretty rough.

I've got a hunch it could be in the vicinity of Red Shirt Table. If you do a search for "Red Shirt Table photos" in South Dakota you'll be able to see what kind of country it is. It's national grasslands and indian reservation. I don't seem to be able to post a link to those photos.

Monty thanks for posting those pictures. It is rough country and a lot of cattle disappear in the western part of this state. I listened to that audio while I was eating my dinner and posted it then went back to work. The more I thought about that story the more I had to laugh.

That story has to be fiction. No cowboys I've every been around in this country talk like the author of that story. The author is no cowboy. There is a lot of big open unfenced country in the badlands and on the reservations but his wording when he said they started off looking for cattle was wrong. When they got to the school house he said they tied their horses up to a rock (haha). No body here I've ever known has tied there horse up to a rock. When he said they came down the stairs in the school he said they had their fingers "heavy on the triggers" (haha). I had to laugh again when I was thinking back about other things he said in the story this afternoon. The indians do talk about seeing bigfoots on the reservations but I don't know too much about that but I have heard some stories.

Lots of cattle get stolen on and off the reservations and thats a regular occurrence and has gone on for years. I can post an older story about some of it. It's old but nothing has changed that I know of on that subject on all the reservations here.

A firefighter who went missing from the slopes of a ski resort in New York and sparked a massive search was found six days later on the opposite side of the country, still wearing his ski suit.

Constantinos "Danny" Filippidis had been out on an annual trip with friends and colleagues in Whiteface Mountain in the Adirondacks in New York state when he disappeared.

He turned up in warmer weather in Sacramento, California, nearly 3,000 miles away, where he contacted the police and gave his name, saying he had been missing from New York

I live directly at the southern end of that cluster. I can see grand teton pk from my house. There are stranger things out there than the lg predators we know about. Theres a particular area north of togwotee for instance... things of a very dark nature.

An interesting story below in the comments below this video.

Grew up in the shadows of the Mountains in my state and spent countless days in my youth camping, fishing, and hiking all over in my favorite canyon. The canyon entrance was only five minutes away from my home by car, but provided immediate relief from summer heat and more importantly an endless opportunity of exploring with friends and cousins around my age.

As I got older, I still did a little fishing and camping, but focused more and more on exploring the interconnected trails that brought me encounters with elk, moose, deer, and just one time with a cougar who was standing on a buck my brother had shot. I can’t forget that moment emerging out of the trees to be face to face with a grown cougar who seemed to sense that we were tracking the animal he had claimed. The cougar was chased away, we risked our neck because I didn’t want to shoot this magnificent animal and we sort of improvised with yelling, rocks near the animal, and making ourselves appear bigger while both holding loaded guns. Kind of a moment of wills, but a bit dangerous in more mature hindsight. But the cougar is just a side note.

In my 30’s I started hiking a trail that was near the canyon’s primary fishing reservoir, because I enjoyed the seclusion, the physicality and the view on top was unbelievable. In all my years hiking I can only identify this trail as a moment where i experienced something strange. Of course listening to Rusty forced me to comb through memories of anything odd, similar in any way to themes in these disappearances. The hike itself began in a heavily visited campground just above the reservoir. I normally had a partner, but this time just my Ridgeback, backpack filled with emergencies for most foreseen problems, and cellphone and loaded 9mm and .22 handguns. I couldn’t hike without a loaded gun after the cougar. If you’ve raised a dog from puppy, you will understand when I say I recognized my dog acting bizarrely about halfway up the strenuous climb. He was agitated, growling, and completely different than I’ve ever seen him.

The trail is a continual zig zag of switchbacks due to a massive elevation climb. On one of those blind switchbacks a man who looked completely out of place, no backpack, dressed wrong for a hike, appeared out of nowhere and sent my dog into a frenzy, the dog normally loved all people and was accustomed to encountering all types of people on hikes. I immediately reacted and turned slightly so the gun on my hip was visible, and this man suddenly moved by quickly without responding to my measured pleasantries and I noticed a large knife tucked in the small of his back as he moved by. He had been sitting on the blind area and was waiting. I realized then how evident it is on a whole different level to recognize someone looking to do you harm. I’m glad I was observant and prepared.

Now, the strangest part of all occurred when we made it to the very top that day. I didn’t mention the top of the mountain offered a massive boulder field, with huge granite boulders, some as massive as a trailer that provided a nice place to climb, lay down, and enjoy the warmth from the boulder and the view. However, as my dog and I entered the boulder field a strange sense of agitation and anticipation started to build. I could hear a small herd of deer tromping and crashing through aspens, but staring and using binoculars revealed nothing. And then this cloud of silence enveloped that boulder field, where sound seemed sucked away, the sun had lost its luster, and even moving was more difficult. My dog who never leaves my side was suddenly gone and the intensity of this stressful moment grew and I kept thinking about the guy on the trail for some reason. I noticed how much darker it seemed to get by the moment and I couldn’t tell you how long this impending dread lasted, except for saying too long.I knelt down and was more aware of the slightest rustle than ever in my life, while my eyes strained to see anything in this darkened stillness. In an instant the sun returned, the sounds of an active forest, my dog, and an immediate u-turn as fast as we could down the mountain and back to my truck. I never hiked that trail again.

Just last month, I believe on Halloween or the day prior I saw online that a younger man 20,s or early 30’s had gone missing on that exact trail. He was someone in phenomenal shape, a trail runner, and usually extremely prepared for all conditions on the trail. He was looking to trail run the top 100 peaks in the state and this peak was close to his 85th. He was no rookie. He had the same number and gender of children I had when I had my final hike on this trail. And he literally had disappeared on what is an impossible trail to lose your direction on a single up and down that maintains your view to a busy campground and reservoir below. Now, once you’re on top and through the boulders, you can go many different directions, but the article read that he was just planning on an up and down. I believe there was initial weather (snow) that made the search a bit more difficult. They found the man about a week later deceased and never disclosed too many details. I can’t help but believing he was somewhere in that same boulder field as I was years back. I feel badly for his young wife and children.Sorry for the novel. Be safe everyone!

I thought it pretty good but have not finished it. I have a problem with long videos, especially since they constantly stop and load.

Interesting to note that in West's videos and this one, the common thread running through it all is that they know something is happening that is not understood. The way these people disappear and are then found (if they are found) either so far away that they could not have gotten there by themselves, or they are found where the searchers had already been and no way could have been missed. Often there is no discernable cause of death and the coroner sometimes makes one up down the road to smooth things over.

We first began about two years ago writing about hundreds of young who had gone missing and were later found dead in water. Links to previous posts are at the bottom of this page. The growing epidemic of deaths — most of which are incorrectly dubbed as “Smiley Face Killer” cases — continues to build. The stories concocted about their cause of death, when examined, are beyond incredulous. Nothing is what it seems.

David Paulides was interviewed in the video below and at about the 52:00 minute mark he talks about the young men found in water. A few autopsys were done by the parents of the boys that went further than what the police had done. What they found was the boys had high levels of a chemical called GHB in their blood. It's a date rape drug and when it's used with alcohol it can cause some weird things to happen. It's an interesting interview on people that have gone missing in Canada.

Kyle is a country boy from Kentucky and he has a hell of a story to tell about some things he's run in to in the woods in the Daniel Boon National Forrest. I've had some experiences over the years that have had me wondering about these things and I believe the story he tells is the truth.

edit for some reason this video doesn't start at the beginning and you have to go back to the start of it when you click on this link. I don't know why that is.

"Kyle" came back on Vic's show and they talked about more of the details of his experience. Kyle also talked about the problems he'd had because of that experience and not being able to talk to anyone about it. Night mares and self medicating with alcohol got to be real problems for him.

Part 2

Kyle came back on Vic's show in the last few days to talk about things he'd learned about these creatures from family members. He says people in his area didn't call these creatures dogmen, they called it "Slew foot". I think he said his mamaw heard him singing that song and told him not to be singing it because it was about something evil. He was told the words of the song were changed to be about a bear but it really was a dogman that it had been written about.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gygBo0xsc6U

Jim and Jesse do a good job on the song and their are comments on it from people who came to the youtube channel from dogman encounters.

Here you go JD, this was a bad one. Bear and Coonbo and some others had camped at a campground where this story happened in recent years and one of the people with them got a really good photo of one of these things in their camp while everyone else was away sight seeing. Scared the crap out of him and he wouldn't let them have a copy of the photo after he'd showed it to them then he got the hell out of there.

Brenton Sawin has passed on now but he did a couple of interviews with a country boy who worked as a game warden in the north west. JT is the name the game warden goes by in the interviews. Jt knows David Paulides and had been part of a search for a young boy that Paulides writes about in one of his books. The young boy had been with his family when he went missing. The search was started right away. JT gets choked up near the end of this video when he's talking about what he thinks he saw that concerned the missing boy and what happened to him.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2OyrJi9BPac&feature=emb_logo

Brenton got an email from JT later on and he'd been attacked and was in the hospital. JT calls his dog his partner and Brenton reads the short email from him in this video below.

I think his uncles must have believed these things were "Werewolves" and that's why they loaded their shells with silver dimes. I think I'd prefer Underwoods +P 430 grain hard cast lead bullets in 45-70.

His uncles were trappers and what he had to say about how they set things up and their use of the dogs was right on the mark. There are hundreds and maybe thousands of people that say they have seen these things and they sound credible to me.

Josh Turner tells some stories about these things in Texas that are pretty interesting but he's a Mexican and he likes to put white peiple down.

There is something really strange about all of this and it's why David Paulides won't make statements about what he thinks is going on. So many strange things happen that I really can't make sense out of it for myself about what's happening or what these things are. There seems to be multiple things happening and nothing really adds up.

I'm wondering if CERN has opened up some portals that are allowing things like this to show up. People who encounter these things get the feeling they're evil and They're demons. People also say they look human and animal and that would make them an abomination forbidden by Gods law of "Kind after Kind". With that in mind I think they may be a creation of the fallen angels mentioned in the Bible.

At about the 10:00 mark he goes in to the disappearance of a two year old girl in the Libby, Montana area in 1954. She was found two days later and spoke about a bear. Paulides is along the creek where the disappearance occurred when he recounts the story.

26/Jan/2019...Three year old Casey Hathaway was found alive last night after having been missing for over two days in rain and frigid temperatures. Authorities from the FBI and U.S. Marines professional search teams joined up with volunteers to search for Casey Hathaway when he vanished from outside his grandmother’s house. It was Linda Fraker that thought she heard crying when she was walking her dogs on Aurora Road in rural eastern NC. She contacted authorities and Shane Grier arrived. Shane, captain of Chocowinity EMS, heard Casey calling for his mama, from deep in the woods where he was tangled in briars in a flooded area. Casey was cold and wet, but verbal. He told his family that a bear was his best friend for two days, before requesting French fries from Wendy’s and television. Tonight, Casey is still recovering from hypothermia at Carolina East Medical Center where he was visited by Grier, his new friend. But, what about that bear? It’s not the first time a missing child has made mention of one.

In 1869, three year old Katie Flynn went missing in Manistee National Forest. She was found the next day alive and told searchers that “a big doggie” had stayed with her throughout the night.

In 1888, the New York Times reported a disappearance of a not quite three year old girl. She was found a day later, two miles away in a deep valley and shared that she had slept by a bear that kept her warm that night.

In 1955, Ida Mae Curtis went missing in Kootenai National Forrest in Montana. She, like Casey, was found two days later after 350 backwoodsmen searches in heavy rain. She relayed, to the best of a 2-year-old’s ability, being cuddled and comforted by a bear during the time she was missing. The Montana Sheriff demanded that Ida Mae’s family stop telling the story of a bear caring for their little girl. He told them, “Quit telling that story. It could never happen. It didn’t happen and don’t say it anymore.”

People should be packing guns when they're out in wild country for lots of reasons and this is one of them.

Kyle Burgess was on a run about 2 miles up Slate Canyon on Saturday evening and saw four small animals scampering around on the trail ahead, he didn’t realize what they were at first.Thinking they were bobcats (it wouldn’t be the first time he’d seen those), Burgess pulled out his phone and started recording.

Seconds later, when their mother came into view, it dawned on him that he was in big trouble. They were mountain lion cubs. And their mother was going to protect them at all costs. The instant the full-grown mountain lion mother charged him, Burgess’s adrenaline fired up. He let out a stream of profanities while he backed away.

The cougar dove into the trees along the side of the trail, as if to flank him.She reappeared on the trail. Her eyes locked on him, and she followed him as he retreated backward. What came next was the longest six minutes of Burgess’ life.

I've listened to a couple of stories of people who've had some strange things happen to them that hardly anyone will believe. It may explain though what's happening when people disappear never to be seen again. Those stories point out that the government is involved and they're covering it up because they are involved.

Why did it take him over five minutes to figure out he had ready projectiles at his feet?? That's the very first thing I would have done, start hurling rocks.

I've been wondering that too but it was probably best to just keep backing away and making himself look large. If he'd stopped and bent over to pick up a rock that might have been enough to make that cat charge. If he'd thrown a rock and hit that cat it might have been enough to make it attack him too.

I've played that game with cattle that get on the fight, they will some times threaten and follow you, bluff charge or full on attack you. Every time it's different. I pack a gun all the time because you never know what you'll run into and it's best to be armed so you can take care of business if you need to.

John Ballen I believe is a former navy seal that's searching out stories and putting them in to pod casts. He's been going through David Paulides books and looking in to stories that he finds interesting and they are. David Paulides is a good researcher but his videos and story telling are kind of slow. This guy Ballen is a good story teller and he gets right with it and tells the stories and they are all very interesting.

He has 21 videos up of Paulides stories he tells and I'll post them. They are well done from start to finish with some really strange things in all of them. He has Paulides permission to do what he's doing with these stories too. I've noticed when I post videos here they don't get stopped by advertisements when you watch them here rather than on youtube.

^ David Paulides has mentioned in this video above that the young guy who disappeared was of German ancestry. He's mentioned that about other people of German ancestry disappearing in some of his other videos.

It makes me wonder if jews in our government have something to do with it and they're still carrying out the jew Henry Morganthau's plan to exterminate twenty million Germans after they surrendered in WWII. They were only able to exterminate about sixteen million according to Jame Bacque in his book and film "Other Losses".

I have to wonder because Truth Vids in his videos says the Germans are the descendants of the Israelite tribe of Judah in his video "100 Proofs the Israelites were White". The jews are Canaanites/Edomites that have stolen the identity of the true descendants of the Israelites who are white christians.

Bill Sheehan has collected stories from people and their experiences in the woods for a lot of years. He's compiled them into several books but he also reads some of those stories and puts them on youtube.

The first video below is one Steve Isdahl put up of a roar that was recorded in the woods by a hunter that sent that recording to him. Steve says it's not a bear that's roaring. Steve plays the roars sent to him starting at about the 2.25 minute mark.

The second video is a rock hound out in the woods that was heading back to his pickup after he'd been out rock hunting and he picks up a roar on his camera recording. Kind of sounds like the one in Steve Isdahls video. The roar starts at about the .52 minute mark and is replayed several times.

The third video is a story told to Bill Sheehan by some fishermen who flew in to a lake in Canada for some fishing. While they were fishing they heard loud roars and watched a fierce battle take place on the bank of the lake. You can scroll to 1:15 to skip Bills intro.

^ @ 35:50 David tells of his meeting w Los Angeles Coroner investigator, who he asked "How bad is suicide these days?"

Coroner told him "We've had more deaths in LA County in the last 9 months, than we've had in the previous 30 years, related to someone taking their life. It's horrific. Press isn't talking about it; people don't want to know it; but something really bad is happening."

^ unclear if that means 'previous 30 years combined', or any of those individual 30 years... I expect the latter, which is no surprise. the satanists' MuhRONA hoax lockdown, masks, social distancing are designed to drive ppl off the edge.

David then asks rhetorically: "So is that covid related? Is the 'cure' for covid worse than covid itself?"

I've steered clear of the ufo stories because they always seemed a little too weird to me and I really didn't have any interest in them. There have been a few though that have caught my attention because it seemed like there may be a connection to David Paulides stories of people vanishing in the wilderness.

Over the years as I've listened to stories there have been things that stuck in my mind and I'm going to post some of those videos and time marks in them for things that caught my attention because they may be connected to what's going on in the wilderness when people vanish.

I think our government may be involved and it may shed some light on why they would cover these things up and hide the truth from us.

This first video is one John Ballen did of the "Travis Walton Story". It's a story with lots of witnesses, a disappearance with the sheriff and his deputies thinking it was a murder then Walton shows up again alive.

There have been people in David Paulides stories who disappeared for awhile then were found alive but couldn't remember what had happened to them but a lot of Waltons memories came back to him and it's a pretty interesting story he tells.

Phil Schneider gave some talks on Deep Underground bases before he died.

I'll post a talk he gave in Post Falls, Idaho and at about the 14:00 minute mark he talks about an agreement president Eisenhower was thought to have made in 1954 to allow animals to be taken for experimentation.

People were not supposed to be taken but those taking the animals didn't keep their agreement and started taking people along with animals.

General Isenhower was involved in carrying out the Morganthau plan to exterminate twenty million Germans after they'd surrendered in WWII. In his 1954 deal I now wonder if he may have wanted the German people to be targeted for abduction because David Paulides mentions a lot of people with German ancestry vanish.

Terry Lovelace wrote a book about his experience at a state park he was camped at called "Incident at Devils Den" and he has an interesting story to tell too. In the video below he is interviewed by Tony Merkel.

There is a part of it starting at the 1:16:00 mark that is especially chilling where he observed other men, women, and children that were probably abducted and what looked like our military people who were probably involved with their adduction and later a cover up.

After the incident he was in the hospital and interviewed by military people and they hypnotized him or so they thought and tried to remove his memories of what happened during this incident.

The second story is about a guy that had encounters in Montana south of Billings and in the Wind River Range in Wyoming. His experiences start at about the 14:00 minute mark.

About a year ago I visited a lady friend that lives near Sheridan, Wy. We went for a drive over the Big Horns to Lovel,Wy and were going to go east of there to a place where she'd camped and something had come in to her camp. She said it had the foul odor people experience sometimes when these things show up. It got late on us and we didn't make it to that camp site and decided to return to Sheridan.

They caught up with the people they were trailing the next day but several had vanished and the ones they found were terrified of something in the swamp.

Steve Isdahl read a story from a guy who disappeared for awhile. He was a child when this happened and didn't remember it for a long time. It happened in the Wind River Mountains in Wyoming. His story starts at about the 16:00 minute mark. It could explain some of the disappearances David Paulides writes about.

T weed, if you get time, please dish on your own strange experiences, we would love to hear them.

Ok JD, I've never seen a bigfoot or a UFO but I've seen and heard some things that I still wonder about when I've been in the wilderness. I think in maybe 1986 or seven I went in to the Bob Marshall wilderness south of Glacier Park with some other people with saddle horses and pack mules. I think we rode south for about three days with a different camp every night. At the furthest camp we stayed two nights and then started making our way back out.

As I recall I would hear what may have been wood knocks that people speak of as we traveled along during the day and I wondered if it may have just been trees or chunks of wood falling and hitting another tree of chunk of wood. On our trip out of the wilderness we camped along a creek and a couple of guys picked up some dry tree limbs that were baseball bat size and started doing some batting practice seeing how far they could send a rock flying. They made some pretty loud cracks doing that for quite a while. I don't know if they might have attracted the attention of some forrest creatures when they were doing that but they might have.

There were grizzly bears in the area where we were camped and I didn't like the looks of the campsite because someone had camped there before us and had left it kind of dirty. There were some porrkchop bones in the fire pit they'd left that weren't burned and it looked like trouble to me but we camped there anyway. We cooked and ate our supper then set our tents up for the night. We sat around the campfire for a while visiting then turned in for the night.

I think about 2:30 or 3 am I woke up and heard something big walking past my tent. I lay real still and just listened. It was breathing heavy and making kind of a grunt as it walked by. A little way behind it was what sounded like two young Japaese kids jabbering back and forth to each other. I though it was probably a grizzly that went past my tent and those two Japanese kids were going to be running in to that bear and I'd soon hear them screaming. Never heard anything though and I'm sure glad I didn't because even though I had a revolver I'd sure have hated to have to crawl out of that tent and go try to help them.

I just lay there and waited until daylight and we all got up. I asked the others there if they'd heard what I did and no one had and they just kind of looked at me funny when I told them what I'd heard. I looked for tracks but the ground was hard packed and there weren't any. I didn't say anymore about it after that. I looked for recordings of bears to see if I could find a recording of the sounds bears make but never could find anything like what I'd heard going past my tent that night until I listened to a story Greg Yost tells about an encounter he had. I've listened to the Ron Morheads Sierra sounds but they weren't quite like what I heard that sounded like two young Japanese. I don't know what the hell would make to young Japanese kids go hiking in the wilderness though at two or three am in the morning. So I now wonder what walked past my tent that night in the wilderness.

Greg Yost is a real character and kind of interesting to listen too. He tells some stories in this video below and at about the 2:00 mark he does an imitation of something that came down off a hill towards him and his dog "Buddy". The imitation of what he heard coming down off the hill towards him is exactly what I heard going past my tent that night in the Bob Marshall Wilderness minus what sounded like two Japanese kids behind it jabbering to each other.

In this segment of The CanAm Missing Project, we explore the disappearance of Charles Cherry from his rural home in North Carolina and how he traveled from one location to a hill without leaving tracks. We also review the case of Alfred Cornell who vanished from his rural ranch in North Dakota. We then go in a different direction and explain the strange disappearances of two men from different hospitals in South Africa.

I think it serves jews interests to mock and ridicule people who look in to these sorts of things. The thread "Jews the children of Satan" makes sense of it all to me. Jews are descended from Satan, a fallen angel. When people get to looking too much they'll find out who and what these jews really are and what their intentions are.

The fallen angels created all kinds of abominations and the jews are one of them. There has been research on the DNA of these forrest creatures but it's been covered up because it tends to confirm the Bible and the jews don't like that. They want to pretend they are Gods chosen ones instead of the children of Satan like Jesus told them they were.

I'm curious about all of these things so I look in to them. Everyone has an opinion and that's fine with me but I don't think anyone knows absolutely and exactly for certain what's going on with creatures in the forrest or all of the disappearances David Paulides researches. People tell their experiences of things they've seen, heard and experienced most of the time I believe honestly but I think sometimes there are those who may not be telling the truth. That's for each one of us to decide for ourselves.

If you think someones lying in these videos that's fine or if they're telling the truth that's fine too. If I thought every story in this thread was a lie I sure as hell wouldn't be spending time reading this thread. There was a thread somewhere here on flat earth and that sounds like bullshit to me and I don't go near it. You have to start at the beginning with God and the angels to know who these jews are and what they are. If you don't know that nothing else will really makes sense. Who and what they are is explained in the thread I've mentioned in the religion section. The fallen angels violated God law of kind after kind when they mixed angel kind and animal kind. Ancient history speaks of these things the fallen angels created when they adulterated the creations of God. These forrest creatures leave a lot of people who see them believing they are demonic and that would fit with the story of the Bible.

God created mankind and when Satan beguiled and seduced Eve, Cain was the result and he was a mixture of Angel kind and Man kind. When God created Adam he gave him his breath of eternal life. Cain was a violation of Gods law of kind after kind, an empty vessel, a broken cistern, a cloud with out water because he was the result of the violation of Gods law without the breath of eternal life. It doesn't appear to me that God breathed that breath of eternal life in to Cain and that's when death came in to the world. Jews know they don't have eternal life and they think they can save themselves with trans humanism. Jesus asked the jews how they could save themselves and I guess they think they can save themselves with trans humanism. The Tree of Life is the Adamic race God breathed life in to. The Tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil is the creation of the Fallen Angels. The two family trees spoken of in Genesis 3:15.

That's what David Paulides is saying, things don't logically add up and he's searching for the answers. He has looked in to the Alien abduction thing and also the Sasquatch thing as possible explanations for the people who vanish. In most cases there's no good reason for them to have wandered off and gotten lost or to eventually be found in places they probably couldn't have gotten too by themselves. There's just not enough information to come to any conclusion on what's happening but that doesn't mean people are lying when they tell their stories. It's a mystery to me and I believe everyone else that follows these stories.

I just came across this video below and because some say there may be a connection between the disappearaces and aliens or Bigfoot I'll post it here. There were missile silos all over north western South Dakota and there were missile silos where I live. The missiles with nuclear warheads were removed and the silos destroyed quite a few years ago now. There were always military police driving the roads checking on the silos when an alarm would go off. I've never heard anything about the guys story in this video in a paper or on the radio. I'm guessing it has been covered up for a long time.

I've never seen a ufo but I sleep now in a recliner by a large picture window. I can see a lot of the night sky to the north east when I wake up and can't go back to sleep. I see satellites, airplanes and meteors. One night I saw a bright light moving across the night sky, it turned a square corner, took off and disappeared. It happened fast and was pretty high in the sky. I think to high to be a helicopter and it moved too fast. I don't know what it was and I've never seen anything like that before.

I'm going to edit and add too this post to say these guys were found miles from the missile silo they were checking on, there was missing time and they didn't know how they had gotten where they were found. Being found a long way from where people should have been is something that happens often in the 411 missing cases that David Paulides talks about.

The video below is a companion to a book on the subject of Indian tribes in Canada and their experiences with "Nakani". The Indians of north and South America are thought to have migrated across the Bering land bridge and populated the Americas thousands of years ago. They have their stories and legends and this is what this video is about.

Their stories are similar to the stories that people are recounting today of family members vanishing or being taken. Lots of photos of the Indian people along with some of their history and their stories. Sounds to me like these creatures became more secretive after the white men started showing up with guns. I've watched this once and was having trouble staying awake but they also told stories of these creatures having red eyes and they were extremely afraid of them. People disappear in the wilderness for the same reason they appear there. Call it a return to the roots. Or as Beer Rabbit was want to point out while pleading with Beer Fox "Please don't throw me in the briar patch".

When it gets too hot being returned to your roots is a desirable outcome. It is a rebirth or a chance to start over with this caveat:

Ticks target people with weak immune systems. Healthy people don't as a rule have to worry so much.

Not so. I was bitten by a tick while working in the woods in the mid 90's. I was healthy as an ox before I was bitten. My immune system was strong. The tick still targeted me. I was fresh meat.

I got a bullseye rash and got very sick. Feverish, aching real bad in the joints and chills IIRC. Was dating a girl down in the city (Dearborn, by Detroit) and went to see a city Doc down there. He listened to my symptoms and looked at the bullseye rash and said "Very interesting. I have not seen this before." He gave me 4 days worth of Tetracycline and sent me on my way. I immediately started feeling better after taking the anti-biotic. Who knows, I may still have Lyme disease. I have read that if it is not completely eradicated by a lengthy anti-biotic regime, that it can become chronic and cause all sorts of weird shit.

Why do you think ticks would only target those with weak immune systems? It does not matter to the tick, as he is merely after a blood meal.

Fast forward to 2009: I'm sitting in the living room watching a flick and all of a sudden my left toe goes completely numb. I pull my foot up and there is a tick feeding at the base of the toe by my next toe. I pulled the son-of-a-bitch off and after a while the feeling came back into the toe.

Let's just call it an observation and define a weak immune system as a pheromone for ticks.

I am not into tick behavior but suspect given a choice between weak and healthy immune 95% of all ticks will favor the weak.

Further I would add that 99.8% of all Biden supporters have weak immune systems and it would be prudent to offer them Cutters in social affairs in the woods (as long as you maintain proper separation).

The phrase "Thicker than ticks on a fat dog comes to mind". I've seen healthy fat dogs with ticks all over them and they must have had good immune systems because they remained healthy. Sheep pick up ticks and we used to put a powder on them to kill the ticks.

Smiley Face Murders: More Victims, A Mother’s Torment and Strange Parallels to Belgium’s Dutroux Murders

https://www.winterwatch.net/2021/05/smiley-face-murders-more-victims-a-mothers-torment-and-strange-parallels-to-belgiums-dutroux-murders/

Editor’s Note: There will be an update on this subject matter on Tuesday evening on the Dino Ryan Radio Show. We hope to have a three way conversation with one of the top researchers, Jim Smith, on this plague. You can listen live in the second hour or when it is posted at WW on Wednesday.

The Smiley Face death toll continues to climb, this time in Germany. On April 23 in Hamburg and the following weekend in Dusseldorf, the bodies of young men were retrieved from waterways. In both cases, and as per usual, police attributed the deaths to accidents before autopsy or investigation. Dozens more inexplicable cases have been reported all summer as the Smiley Face Killers continue unchecked.
