Horn, acquiescence means you think the other person is correct.

For me to do that would mean I think Book is correct, when in fact I do not think he is correct. So why should I have to agree with him just so he doesn't go off the deep end?....like General did.

I really doubt JQP is in favor of double standards. He even put forth the same arguement as I did......but no one attacked him for it.

This is what I would like to have an answer to.

If they are permitted to actively troll for me, why can't I respond in kind to them? After all, they did it first and I fire back when fired upon. All my posts have been in self defense.

I second this. I'd like to see an answer to this question as well. It seems it's OK for Book to put folks on the defensive, by manipulating posts. Joe just sees right through that and points it out, in a non confrontational manner.
