I have tried that to some extent. I have found that most want the info spoon fed to them from a "trusted news source".

I'm getting discouraged. Seeing a lot of 'perceptive blocks' out of otherwise intelligent people on some of the most simple and self evident truth out there. There seems to be a 'paradox of simplicity' that arises when a reasonably intelligent adult encounters simplicity as truth. My experience is that their natural tendency is to try to intellectualize it away, or worse- claim a complexity to the concept that doesn't exist. Some of the best prospects don't intellectualize, they simply can't or won't grasp simplicity.

That's probably because once you know the truth, it seems simple. It's not.

I have to disagree with you, Sparky. I think the truth is very simple. One of the very first things that I ever learned about the bad guys is that they try to complicate the simple.

OK, we'll have to disagree unless you can illustrate to me why the truth is simple. We on this forum think we understand, and yet we often can't agree amongst ourselves. It's takem most of us a good portion of our lives to piece together the truth, and we're still working at it. How simple can it be?

The truth is not that complicated. The great hurdle is not to understand the truth but to overcome our false beliefs that prevent use from seeing. Once we do that, we become embarrassed by how stupid we were not to see the obvious.

I think what often happens here is that we often argue over the repercussions of the truth or the symptoms of the truth, not the truth itself. And to be truthful (pun intented), I don't think the majority on this forum embrace or accept the truth (but almost everyone here is much closer than the average bear).

    Re: Notice any awakening?

A new friend of mine just started prepping, and I'd like to believe I had something to do with that. Whether he's in on "the grand conspiracy" is unknown, but there is a sense of unease about the future, and that's a start.

That's great. What'd he start with?
But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint - Isaiah 40:31

Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. ~

Long term food storage, and then water purification . . . and then heat for the food.
