Sorry, but I'll confess I don't accept the statement, "gold" a mineral on the table of elements, is the "basis" of a CONcEPT called "private property."

Private Property is a concept, alternately extrapolated as 3-D stuff, real estate, virtual (intellectual) property.

So a "metal, a concrete 3-D thing" is the "basis" of material goods, geographical longs and lats and thoughts?

That's just plain wierd.

In the meantime,
I suspect the stackers will keep stacking,
the stuff collectors will keep gathering stuff and even official "collectibles"
and the property barons will keep doing "turf acquisition" activities.
