whats the point of the cars all facing the school.. Ah, they all would have had to reverse in, but probably drove through the back bay to park in the front. Does seem a bit odd. Like the car park was 100% empty when they got there.

There are also a whole swag of cars that are exactly the same. Not sure what they are but they are all silver. There is maybe 7 or 8 parked in front of the fire engine. Detroit seems to be a long way away as well.

Francine Wheeler (Lobis), the mother of 6-year-old Benjamin Wheeler who authorities say was killed alongside 25 others at Sandy Hook Elementary School in December 2012, is also a professional musician and actor.


Wheeler is a member of “The Dream Jam Band,” a group of “five musicians from the Northeast who,” according to their website, “write and play an eclectic collection of original music for children of all ages young and old [sic].”

Connecticut political leaders are moving decisively to destroy the site of the December 14, 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre. On September 24 Governor Dannel P. Malloy announced the state’s $50 million commitment to tear down the 57-year-old Sandy Hook School structure and replace it with a new high-priced facility.

“The tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary School is never far from our minds,” Malloy told the press. “With strong resolve and a determination to move forward, we can do our best to support the people of Newtown.”[1]

Workers demolishing Sandy Hook Elementary School required to sign confidentiality agreements

Contractors demolishing Sandy Hook Elementary School are being required to sign confidentiality agreements forbidding public discussion of the site, photographs or disclosure of any information about the building where 26 people were fatally shot last December.

Selectman Will Rodgers said officials want to protect the Newtown school where the 20 children and six educators were killed, The News-Times reported.

"It's a very sensitive topic," he said Monday. "We want it to be handled in a respectful way."

Project manager Consigli Construction has barricaded the property and intends to screen the perimeter to prevent onlookers from taking photographs. Full-time security guards will ensure the site is not disturbed.
Families of the victims and school staff visited the site, but public access is barred.

The precautions exceed those at other construction sites, town officials said.

Jim Juliano, a member of the Public Building and Site Commission, said he initially considered whether the heightened precautions might be excessive. But he believes extra vigilance is needed to shield Sandy Hook families and the community from exploitation.

Rodgers said the goal is to ensure the project is managed properly without interference from onlookers or the infliction of more pain on the community.

"Obviously, workers need access to the site, but inasmuch as we have put restrictions on our citizens, we don't really want those who are there somehow releasing information or recounting impressions of the site, given we are trying to move on, so to speak," Rodgers said.

Demolition is set to begin next week and be finished before the Dec. 14 anniversary of the shootings. A new school is expected to open by December 2016. Town voters last month accepted a state grant of $49.3 million to demolish the school and build a new one.

Employees of a construction company contracted by Newtown to demolish Sandy Hook Elementary School must sign non-disclosure agreements before commencing work on the project, scheduled to begin October 21. The contracts reserve the right to pursue legal action against workers who publicly discuss what might be observed as the 57-year-old structure is leveled. Penalties also apply to employee attempts at removing any physical remains from the site.

Newtown property records suggest that on December 25, 2009 a total of 35 properties located on and around Yogananda Street in Sandy Hook were transferred at zero value to new owners.


The transactions include the house belonging to mysterious figure Chris Manfredonia, who was apprehended by police on Sandy Hook School grounds on the morning of December 14, 2012.

“It’s not just Yogananda Street that was given away on Christmas of ’09,” the researcher argues.

Yogananda addresses 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 21, and 23 all bear identical transactions to the ones exhibited here; 24 is owned by the town, while 18 is a normal transaction.

On Charter ridge, 45, 47, 63, 71, and 72 appear normal and 61, 62, 64, 65, 66, 67, 68, 69, 70, and 73 are all December 25, 2009 transactions . This makes a total of 35 homes given away on Christmas day of 2009. All of these properties surround the Lanza home.

NEWTOWN, Conn. — Workers have begun demolishing the elementary school building where a gunman killed 20 children and six adults, the town’s top elected leader said Thursday.


Newtown First Selectman Pat Llodra said small-scale demolition is underway at Sandy Hook Elementary School and the project will take several weeks.


“The process of demolition is incremental, staged precisely and executed carefully,” she said. “There is no wrecking ball action; it is rather a piece-by-piece, section-by-section removal.”
