He's pretty intelligent, and getting into his mindset it seems like he'd be making deals all day if he was president, which is a good thing.
The real question in my mind is, will it be more profitable for him to put in policies which benefit the country, or to put in policies which benefit bankers, Israel, and multinational corporations.
For example, what is his position on the Trans Pacific Partnership? He's smart enough to know what it's implications are, but given that knowledge, would he favor the corporations or national interest? He mentioned an example with Ford building it's car plant in Mexico vs the US and how he'd favor national interests. If he's got a lot of US real-estate, then maybe that would be beneficial to him personally. In other words, if most of his investment is land ownership within the US, then indeed his personal interests might be aligned with national interests more closely. This is different than an equally rich person who may be a banker for example. The banker has no inherent interest in any nation, only on strategically how money flows.
So I think that when looking at Trump, we should really take a close look at exactly where his personal wealth lies. If it's all real-estate, then it's in his benefit that the US actually does well. This is similar to Putin and his oligarchy which have a large amount of personal interest in Russia's oil pipeline business. Their money and politics are aligned, which is what you want. Think about when only land owners could vote.
Politicians with less money get most of their wealth from donations from subversive groups such as lobbyists and Israeli groups. In that case, the money and politics is opposed.
So my advice to analyze Trump is to look at where his money and investments are, and decide if it is aligned with or opposed to the overall country. This actually makes things real simple since you don't have to believe in words he says - just look at the money.
Take a look at Putin. Whether he cares about Russia or just his own investments, it doesn't matter. It's basically the same thing:
On the other hand, take a look at Cheney. It makes sense why he'd go to war:After Yeltsin unexpectedly resigned on December 31st, 1999, Putin became the acting President of the Russian Federation and thereby launched a nearly 15 year reign of absolute power and control. During his reign, many Russian insiders and experts believe that Putin has used his power to do a little more than improve life for the common Russian citizen. While many previously state-owned industries were privatized, Putin allegedly has used his power to build large secret ownership stakes several multi-billion dollar commodity firms. His most vocal critics assert that Putin has leveraged his power to acquire a 4.5% ownership stake in natural gas producer Gazprom, a 37% stake in oil company Surgutneftegas and 50% stake in Swiss oil-trader Gunvor. Gazprom alone does over $150 billion in revenue annually, Guvnor does $80 billion and Surgutneftegas over $20 billion. Using their most recent market capitalizations, Putin's combined ownership stakes would give him a personal net worth of $70 billion!
So what evidence is there of Putin's secret obscene fortune? Let's start with the small stuff. Putin is known to sport a $150,000 Patek Philippe watch on most occasions and his total collection has been valued at $700,000. He also has full access to a $40 million ultra-luxury yacht that features a wine cellar, Jacuzzi, helipad and outdoor barbecue area. In terms of living accommodations, Putin has access to 20 mansions throughout the world including a lavish ski lodge and Medieval castle. The crown jewel of his property portfolio is a $1 billion palace overlooking the Black Sea that he allegedly owns through an anonymous trust. Furthermore, Putin makes frequent use of 15 Presidential helicopters and more than 40 private jets, many of which feature gold plated interiors.
And then the Bush's. It's oil and banking, mostly at odds with the national interest. War is what financially benefits them:Cheney reported assets valued at $21 million to around $100 million. Cheney gained much of his wealth from his former role heading oil service firm Halliburton Co..
And the Clinton's make all their money "speaking and writing" or in other words I'm pretty sure that means zio endorsements.Oil. The oil business made George H. W. Bush a millionaire by the age of 40.
Before that, his father, Prescott Bush, did very well also, running several business. Some of that was controversial, doing business with Nazi Germany before the war. He was also a Senator.
Before that, his father, Samuel Prescott Bush, became wealthy in the steel industry, working for the Rockefeller family.
On the other side, George H.W. Bush's maternal grandfather, George Herbert Walker, was a wealthy banker and businessman.
So for the most part, it's old money earned over several generations (not really by the current president, but by his father, grandfather, and two great grandfathers)
But the really big money came in private equity (as it often does), with ties to the Saudi royal family and entities like the Carlyle Group. They are responsible for many of George W. Bush's business opportunities, such as Caterair, which he ran into the ground.
So to understand the man, and what he'll do, look at where his money is.

How do I edit my signature line? I open my profile, go to "About me", but then I'm at a dead end-- "Customize My Profile" there merely opens a useless data window of options dealing with text colors...
Of course I want to update my siggy with:

Let me explain something to you. Trump's Jew friends helped him write the 'Art of the Deal", indirectly.
You probably didn't know this, but the Jews finance both sides of every war and election. That way they are assured to win no matter the outcome.
Trump understands this all to well, having done business with so many Jews.
Hope this helps you understand why and who he supports and funds. He plays the Jew game as well as the Jews.
