Thats just hearsay and supposition. There is plenty of evidence female deities existed in the Roman empire until Constantine. Even the Hebrews were known to dabble in the feminine deities right up until their exile in Babylon by King Nebuchadnezzar II.

This theory assumes we know definitively that female deities had a greater influence in neolithic and pre-neolithic tribal societies, which we don't. Do you even apply critical thinking to the 'stuff' you read?
