'Cause it is an agent of the STATE that did it. You don't need to name anyone. Essentially nobody else need be affected. It is your relationship to the STATE that has changed.

We all filter what we see and what we perceive through our own sense of being. What we see is not the way things are but the way we are. Once you know that the STATE is capable of supporting agents that are more than willing to do you in then you are going to be less idealistic and more practical. The STATE likes to deal with you on their terms and they call this CONTRACT. You gotta deal with them one way or another so you might as well hang the term VI ET ARMIS on them just to let them know you know that when they use force you are going to call them on it.

The pen is mightier than the sword. Going to the sword is terminal eventually. I always figured my life expectancy on a battlefield where projectiles occur is something south of 15 minutes. When I sling words the word return just bounce off.

I use VI ET ARMIS legitimately in all my dealings with the STATE. Had a gun held to my head too so now they can ONLY deal with me on those terms.
